A combat skill that can knock down all surrounding enemies while charging forward rapidly. This skill is quite destructive, but it can land you in hot water if you're not careful!

Details

  • Requires Dual Guns to use.
  • The user rushes forward straight line, shooting every enemy within range four times and knocks them down slightly toward the player's ending position.
  • Consumes 8 bullets, regardless of how many enemies are hit.
    • If used without bullets in the magazine, the message "Not enough Mana Bullets." will appear and Reload will execute automatically.
  • When the skill is used, red arrows will mark potential targets who will be affected by the skill.
    • However these arrows are only guidelines as enemies can move in and out of range during the skill's execution.
    • Where you click will determine the angle at which you lunge forward.
    • It is required that at least one enemy is within range to use this skill.
  • During the shooting animation, the player will temporarily receive Advanced Heavy Stander for the duration of its entire animation.
    • The skill itself cannot be interrupted, even if the player is rendered unconscious before the attack is complete.
    • Unlike other skills that move the player a certain distance within a few seconds, such as Tumble, Shooting Rush instantly moves the player to the landing point.
      • Enemies will thus try to attack the player at that area.
  • The multiple hits dealt by gunshots are purely cosmetic.
    • The total damage of all the hits is equal to the actual damage dealt.
    • This means that Proficiency is gained and Durability is lost for only one hit rather than four times, Critical Hit is calculated only once rather than separately for each individual hit, and if a Critical Hit is scored, all four bullets will deal a Critical Hit on all enemies.
  • Shooting Rush causes all impacted enemies to aggro.
  • Shooting Rush triggers Defense but does not stun the Shooting Rush user. However, the damage of all four bullets is reduced.
  • Shooting Rush ignores an enemy's Counterattack, Lance Counter, or Combo: Counter Punch.
  • Shooting Rush cannot target Barrier Spikes.
  • Shooting Rush can be loaded but cannot be used in Rafting.
  • Shooting Rush can hit enemies in Flight.
  • Can be successfully used to dodge Fireball and similar skills if the landing area is outside of its range.
  • The user cannot move with Shooting Rush loaded.
  • Cancelling Shooting Rush will change the player's direction to face the cursor.
  • Ignores Protection when calculating Critical Hit.
  • As a Ranged ability, the effects are shunted by Natural Shield.

Skill Issues

  • Shooting Rush may not properly target enemies even though they are in range which may prevent execution of the skill.
    • This can be remedied by reloading the skill and/or moving a bit before loading, but the error may occur again.
  • Sometimes when using Shooting Rush, the user may jump into an opposite direction of the intended path.
  • Shooting Rush may cause displacement lag for the user, as well as anyone around the user.
    • In addition, it may seem like the user did not move from their current position at all or suddenly jet forward into their landing position.

Tips

  • Shooting Rush does not require any CP-related tasks in order to be trained, however many of Shooting Rush's requirement is to hit a certain amount of enemies and triggering critical hit, which is difficult to achieve due to pure luck. Training also cascades in that if you finish a requirement that attack 6 or more enemies, you will subsequently fulfill other requirements that requires smaller amounts of enemies, such as attack 5 or more enemies and so forth. To utilized as much training as possible, it is best to fulfill the maximum amount of enemies attack criteria.
  • The best training spots for Shooting Rush would be Dungeons or Shadow Missions with densely populated enemies. Mimic pits and Skeleton rooms in Rabbie Dungeon are some areas where training might be desirable. Pole rooms are also desirable due to the sheer amount of enemies that can spawn.
    • Another training hotspot would be Dorren's Request for early to mid ranks due to the ability to spawn groups of enemies at will but at for ranks 9+ where the maximum requirement calls for 5+ enemies, the number of enemies will be insufficient.
    • Likewise, Shadow Missions such as Sulfur Spiders of the Shadow Realm provides a good amount of enemies in certain early rooms with constant spawning of enemies. Their Method and Shadow Cast City are also excellent choices for early to mid ranks of Shooting Rush since the enemies tend to spawn very close to each other.
    • Mutant Rabbits in Outskirts District 1 of Shyllien Nature Reserve are very bunched up and make easy targets for Shooting Rush. However, they have high HP and may gang up on you if they survive.
    • White Spiders in Tir Chonaill's graveyard are also a good start, though it may be difficult to group them up later on.
    • Zombies in Tir Chonaill (Another World)'s graveyard is also an effective place, since their Natural Shield renders Shooting Rush's damage to 1. One can pull them into a corner and Shooting Rush them there.
      • However, this method does not count for the requirement "Perform a finishing blow on an enemy", though this is not required to advance the skill and with enough training through this method one will not need that requirement.
      • Avoid using Shooting Rush directly into the pile of mobs, as this will result the Zombies flying out from the corner and scattering.
        • It is recommended to pin the Zombies to the fence area and use Shooting Rush to the sides of the mobs, as this will cause them to fly back and forth while sticking to the fence.
    • Skills such as Enthralling Performance can also be used to gather sparse weaker enemies in groups in order to hit them with Shooting Rush.
