Play enthralling music with an instrument to entice a nearby animal or Fomor. Once enamored, the creature mindlessly follows the music, wherever it goes.

Details

  • Require an instrument equipped to use.
    • Instruments that are allowed to be used with this skill are limited to this skill's rank.
  • Plays music that can hypnotize monsters into aimlessly following the user and other monsters in a straight line.
    • A swirling effect will appear over a monster once it has been successfully lured.
    • The monster cannot be lured if it behind an obstacle or is in aggro state.
    • If a monster is attacked while lured, it will be released from the lure, unless the attack does not alter aggro.
    • When the skill ends, all affected monsters will immediately aggro the user, depending on the monster's AI.
    • Enthralling Performance overwrites lured monsters' anchor positions (their spawn point), making it possible to move and keep them in another location altogether.
    • It is possible to lure other player's pets if they have PvP enabled.
      • A lured pet can only be moved by its master if it is a mount and the master was mounted on it before the pet was lured. A lured mount cannot be mounted until the skill ends.
      • After the skill ends, the lured pet will temporarily revert to Auto Attack Mode AI.
  • The user may walk when using this skill.
  • If the music on a Score Scroll ends before the Enthralling Performance expires, the skill will continue in silence until the time limit.
  • The skill will end when the maximum duration of the skill has been reached or the user is out of Stamina.
  • The skill's ability to lure monsters is dependent upon the monster's Combat Power.
  • Has a cooldown of 10 seconds, which starts when the skill is used.

Obtaining the Skill

Training Method

  • Rank 2 requires "Bewilder a boss-level monster." in order to rank up.
    • This method becomes impossible to train if the user's Combat Power is above 1,467, as boss-level monsters relative to the user will exceed the lure CP limit.
      • This can be remedied by reducing CP.
      • Alternatively, one can completely train "Successfully bewilder a monster." and "Bewilder 5 monsters simultaneously." and then use a Skill Training Seal (5).
      • Another alternative is to acquire a Soul Star Badge to bypass the need for the training seal.

Tips

  • The fastest way to train "Successfully bewilder a monster." and "Bewilder X monsters simultaneously." requirements is to use the skill near several low-CP enemies (such as the Raccoon and Young Raccoon just north of Dugald Logging Camp) before changing channels mid-performance. This will prevent the enemies from becoming aggressive, which will allow for changing channels without penalty.
  • "Successfully bewilder a monster" can easily be trained in the Tir Chonaill Graveyard or southeast of Coill Dungeon. The White Spiders do not attack the player after Enthralling Performance ends.
  • Hide (if Elf) or Crisis Escape can be used immediately to drop aggro, allowing Enthralling Performance to be used once again on the previously affected targets.
