Hail Storm

Description
When people think of magic, they think of the ability to manipulate weather. This basic skill allows you to create a snow storm, gather ice from that storm, and then unleash that ice upon your enemies. You need to wield a staff to use the skill, but it will allow you to ceaselessly attack nearby enemies. |
Details
- Requires a Staff to use.
- During start-up, a blue circle will appear under the user and an icy wind surrounds the player during ice crystal formations.
- Generates large ice crystals to be hurled at opponents.
- When the user fires an ice crystal, a new one will be created after a set period.
- Ice crystals can be charged by waiting before launching them.
- The speed at which the Crystal charges depends on rank.
- Sufficient charges on the crystal will cause the enemy to be pushed back regardless of passive defense.
- Crystals will do their base damage multiplied by the number of charges.
- At 5th charge Hail Storm receives a 6.25x damage multiplier.
- Larger Crystals take slightly longer to hurl at opponents than smaller ones.
- Ice Crystals have a splash effect starting at 3 charges.
- All enemies affected by this receive full damage from the skill.
- The radius of the blast increases with the number of charges.
- Takes 50 Mana to cast, then consumes 4 Mana per second after it has loaded.
- If the user runs out of Mana after it has loaded, the skill will be canceled.
- The skill will end 40 seconds after it has finished loading.
- When the skill has 10 seconds left, the icon will blink in a manner similar to Final Hit.
- The user will be unable to move when using Hail Storm, unless they use Spellwalk.
- If the user is knocked back while the skill is already active and has at least 2 charges, the user will lose all but 1 charge.
- If the user is knocked back during the initial start-up or when they only have 1 charge, the skill will cancel.
- Every 100 Intelligence decreases Mana Consumption and Casting Time of Hail Storm by 2%.
- The Casting Time can be calculated by

Ice Travel How to Get Quest Talk to Stewart with the Skills Keyword with Rank F Icebolt, Ice Shield, and Ice Spear.
Briefing This skill can only be learned by those who have a deep understanding of ice. To gain that, fight monsters in cold places using magic. - Stewart - Objectives
- Hunt 20 Ice Worms.
- Hunt 20 Ice Wyverns.
- Defeat 1 Mirror Witch.
- Talk to Stewart.

Additional Information
- Despite what the briefing says, you do not have to kill the enemies with magic.
- Ice Worms can be found almost all over Physis.
- The Small Ice Worms found in Par Ruins also count.
- Ice Wyverns can only be found in Zardine via Hot-Air Ballooning.
- Mirror Witch can only be found in Par Snow Crystal, as the boss. However, in order for the Mirror Witch to spawn, a player must defeat the Wendigo with an Ice Pole or a Small Ice Pillar; these only appear when the Wendigo uses Stomp.
- The Ice Pole is only usable by Giants, while the Small Ice Pillar is usable by Humans and Elves.
- A player with an Ice Pole or a Small Ice Pillar has to deal the last blow to the Wendigo.
- Defeating Wendigo with Assault Slash will not cause the Mirror Witch to appear.
Training Method
- The Shyllien Nature Reserve has very tightly clustered enemies in abundance. You can train "Attack an enemy with Hail Storm" fairly quickly by attacking Mutant Rabbits.
- Use AOE pet summon effects to keep enemies away from you.
- Expect to use a lot of mana due to being attacked constantly.
- "Attack an enemy with Hail Storm" can also be trained on Barrier Spikes in Provocation.
