Description

Vivace is a musical term that means 'fast tempo.' Magicians discovered that Vivace music increased the speed with which they thought, and after some experimentation, they learned that Vivace music could be used to speed up Alchemists, Warriors, and Rangers, too.

Details

• Requires an Instrument or Microphone equipped to use.
  • Rank 5 Song allows any equipment to play this skill.
• Plays music to increase the Attack Speed of Normal Attacks, Aim Speed of Ranged Attacks, Magic Casting Time, and Alchemy Loading Speed of nearby players.
  • The attack speed boost stacks with the Attack Speed Set Effect from the Chinese Dragon Set and Attack Speed/Fast Attack Enchants as well as Way of the Gun.
• The skill is continuously repeated so long as the music is still being played or until the skill is cancelled.
  • Clicking any location that will normally cause you to move without attacking will cancel the skill.
    • This only works after the buff effect has been activated.
• The rank of Musical Knowledge affects the chance of playing an "excellent" or "inspiring" performance.
  • Excellent performances increases the effects of this skill by 10%, whereas inspiring performances increases them by 30%.
  • Inspiring performances have their own animations. Players with string instruments wildly strums their instrument similar to an electric guitar, while players with wind instruments wildly flail around while playing the flute, players with percussion instruments will angrily strike their drums, and players with microphones will flail around while singing madly.
• The buffs do not stack with other musical buff skills. The last one played will cancel out any existing musical buff.
• Playing Vivace after activating Fantastic Chorus triggers Sorrow Sonata.
• Enabling Mini Effects causes the aura to become invisible.
• Rank 1 Vivace is required to use the Relentless Assault Technique.

Training Method

• Forming a party with a summoned pet or partner allows one to receive training for "Give buff to a party member."
• During the performance, a message will display to indicate the level of success:
  • "Play a normal performance" will simply say "the sound".
  • "Play an excellent performance" will say "the marvelous sound".
  • "Play an inspiring performance" will say "the haunting sound". It will also cause your character to play the instrument differently than normal
