Description

Humans have always desired to unmask the unknown in the hopes of finding the true meaning of life. As such, Exploration is the purest of all human pursuits. It is the perfect blend of danger and beauty, where adventure is assured and knowledge is its own reward.

Details

• Passively increases the Exploration Experience gained through Fynni Catching, L-Rod Exploration, Sketching, and Exploration Quests and increases the detection range of L-Rods.
  • Monster finishes, turning in Courcle Artifacts or Exploration Statues to Voight, turning in Fossils to Belita, or Hot-Air Ballooning are unaffected by the EXP bonus.
• Starting at Rank 6, L-Rod Exploration has a chance to reveal the possible locations of artifacts on the Mini-map.
  • When this occurs, all "nearby" possible artifact locations are illuminated on the map with orange markers for approximately 2 seconds.
• Rank F Exploration Mastery is required to obtain the quest for Artifact Investigation; Rank 9 is required to complete one of the quest's objectives.

Obtaining the Skill

• Create or rebirth a character and select the Treasure Hunter Talent to be the active talent.
  • Requires 39 Pons.

Or,

• Equip an [L-Rod].

Training Method

• Uncovering Ice Mines does not count for "Successful L-Rod Exploration".
• Starting at Rank 6 is the requirement "Explore a Treasure Dungeon". Treasure Dungeons can only be found while Treasure Hunter is your active talent.

Tip

• Using Demigod and a fast mount trains "Successful L-Rod Exploration" much faster than using L-Rod Exploration.
• The "Eye of the Sun" west of Filia's Mana Tunnel/Connous Battle Arena is an ideal location to train "Successful L-Rod Exploration", as they spawn close to one another and respawn very frequently.
• For "Gain Exploration Exp from Sketching":
  • The "Face Stone Sculpture", located in the same area as the "Eye of the Sun".
  • The "Warrior Stone Statue", located right next to the Snake Mark's Mana Tunnel.
