Rage Impact

Description

A warrior must not lose their will to fight, even when surrounded. Even if one possesses great physical strength, a lack of mental fortitude can keep them from attaining victory. Rage Impact unleashes waves of fighting spirit to overwhelm your opponents, stopping them in their tracks and providing an opening to take them down.

Details

• Requires a Sword (excluding Rapiers), Blunt Weapon, or Axe equipped in order to use.
• Instantly generates a shockwave around the user, stunning all nearby enemies. All enemies hit by this skill will then take additional damage to the next melee attack of any kind within a few seconds.
  • All attacks will cause the debuff to wear off, regardless of whether or not it is a melee attack.
  • Does not stack with Support Shot's melee bonus, unless Support Shot is used very quickly after the target is hit with Rage Impact.
    • For this to work, Support Shot has to hit after Rage Impact hits, and before the target is afflicted by Rage Impact's effect. This time frame is quite short. (~0.5 seconds)
• Enemies hit will not aggressively aggro the user.
• Does not use Durability or increase the Proficiency of the wielded weapon but it will train the weapon's appropriate mastery skill should it apply.

Additional Information	For the second step, you will be taken into the Shadow Mission, Learn Rage Impact, where you role-play as a nameless female warrior. She has Rank 6 Smash, Counterattack, Defense, Combat Mastery, Assault Slash, Windmill, and Critical Hit, along with 100 HP 300 Potions, 40 Stamina 300 Potions, and 10 Speed Walk Potion 30% (5 min)s. After talking to several NPCs, the nameless female warrior learns Rank F Rage Impact. Afterwards, two fighting waves appear. The mission completes after talking to the Mysterious Knight at the end. A large light blue circle appears on the ground. Going too far out of the circle will warp the player back into it. Killing an enemy instantly resets Rage Impact's cooldown.

Trivia

• According to Aranwen, her ancestor was inspired to learn Rage Impact after she saw a Giant use Stomp, something she was unable to perform due to being human. The ancestor eventually found a Mysterious Knight on Iria who taught her Rage Impact, but also learned that it was cursed as it caused everyone around her to be enraged. The Knight explained that rage needed to be balanced with harmony, much like two sides of a disc, and the ancestor realized she needed to pass the skill on to her descendants in order to lift the curse.
