Commerce Mastery

Description

Clever merchants know that controlling the market is more important than purchasing goods at a low price. This skill allows you to earn more during trades, but it won't guarantee a profit if you don't know what you're doing.

Details

Passively increases ducats, experience, gold, and merchant rating earned from commerce.
- Bonuses are based off raw profit: profit per item * amount of item.
- Bonuses are shown in parenthesis in the rewards window.

Commerce Mastery does not contribute to Skill Combat Power.

Obtaining the Skill

Purchase a handcart from any Ogre Transport Helper. The handcart costs 3,000 ducats.
- Players who have already purchased a handcart before the implementation of Commerce Mastery must simply talk to an Ogre Transport Helper.

Training Method

All requirements refer to profit, your net gain for selling the items, not the total sale price of the items.

Tips

Do not sell all items in one bulk, as they will count for only one training. Sell them in separate amounts, but make sure the profit earned satisfies the requirements.
- To calculate how many items you need to sell to meet the requirements: (Training Requirement Ducat #) / (Profit Gain #) = Selling Item Amount
- More smaller sales can be made in one trip by using a Letter of Guarantee to increase the profit value of the items being traded, which allows a smaller quantity of the items being traded to satisfy the profit requirements.
