Description

He is wearing a pair of rimless glasses that hang loosely from his nose. His eyes are as hazy as water clouded with ink. He wears scale leather on his bare chest, and makes chilling, snake-like noises whenever he moves.

Voight is the manager of the Erskin Bank Branch in Cor. He also appraises and restores Courcle Artifacts for a small fee. An appraised or restored artifact can be sold to Voight for exploration experience and gold.

Unlike the citizens of Cor, Voight is an atheist and does not believe in the existence of a deity, including the Irinid. Voight is in his 40's, as stated by him when asking him about the healer's house.

Voight does not seem to look like a resident of Cor. According to Kusina, Voight was a prince living in a big castle and he gave it all up to come to the lush forest of Courcle. She says there are people who come and always try to change his mind, to return to being a prince; if she was asked about Voight's whereabouts, she does not mention it.

However, that is a lie and Voight's past is very troublesome. He ran away from his home at age 8 and then spent his time in Emain Macha where he accumulated a mass of debt gambling at Bean Rua. Much of his knowledge of appraising and restoring artifacts was actually gained from his previous job as a grave digger. Voight actually came to Cor because he ran away from his debts as well as pursuing bounty hunters but is greatly dissatisfied with Courcle, calling it a "disgusting jungle." Alexina gladly taught him about Iria but Voight seems to mention that he took something of hers. He now tries to make money off artifacts so he can pay off his debt, and also says how he missed Emain Macha and how he has missed the lady at Bean Rua.

Voight was traveling to Maiz Prairie Ruins with Ilsa so Arenen can propose to her there. However, a sudden change occurs; Ilsa said she loves Voight. Voight, however, did not love her back as he felt the situation was awkward and still owed Arenen some money. Arenen soon comes in and takes it as a misunderstanding, and sobs in miserable pain of the "betrayal."
