- Have you ever visited the School? Classes offered at the School are very useful which I highly recommend attending.
Being under the tutelage of amazing teachers like Ranald and Lassar is a very good opportunity for you, CharacterName. Don't miss out on the classes!

- You're looking for the School? Go downhill towards the right when you exit. It's the building that has the big yard on both sides with a weird giant plant and a scarecrow.
It's right next to the church. Very easy to find. You can meet Ranald and Lassar at the School. You can learn a lot from them.

Okay, cross the stream first, alright? Then run along, with the stream on your left and you will see the farmland. Once you see it, you know you're almost there. It's really close to the farmland, so you'll see it right away. Hey, wait a minute. Why am I telling you all this? I'm a busy guy!

- Tir Chonaill is such a small town that establishing a school was almost unnecessary. But I thought it was necessary that we establish a place for our children to learn the traditions and wisdom of our forefathers. Otherwise, our proud heritage would be been lost after a few generations. We could not let that happen.
Fortunately, Lassar came back from her studies around that time, and decided to help out. That's how this School came to be.

You can find my mentor Ranald at the school. He's a really tough combat instructor. If you ask him about combat in general, he'll be able to teach you a lot about it. If you go to the back, there is another teacher named Lassar. She's really beautiful, but not as much as Dilys. Um... Don't tell Lassar that, though. She might cast a Firebolt on me if she finds out.

If you want to find a school, you'll have to go quite far from here. I guess the closest school from here would be the one in Dunbarton... Come to think of it, there was a school where I grew up, but it closed down a long time ago. It was in a big city where real estate was quite expensive, so I guess they couldn't keep such a huge operation like running a school going on for too long.

- I've never attended a proper school. I'm sure you can guess why, no?
We had a live-in teacher at our estate to provide us with the best in private education. It wasn't too long after she'd started, however, that her lack of knowledge and proper certification was exposed, and she quit so as not to draw attention to it.
- I've heard there's a school here in Dunbarton. In fact, several graduates from there have gone on to become members of the Society of Astronomy.
When I told them I was going to Dunbarton, they asked me to say hello to some of the townspeople on their behalf... But that seems like too much trouble. I mean, who has time for that? If I ever get to the point where I'm finally on top of organizing all the incoming sponsorships and donations, maybe then I'll consider it...depending on how I feel.

Unfortunately, he was gravely injured in the war against the Giants, and in a few short years he was gone. If my teacher could see me now, I'm sure he'd give me one of his deep sighs and shake his head. But what can one do but live life to the best of one’s ability?
- Elves have little need of schools such as the humans have. This was particularly true in the days of old, as our collective wisdom and knowledge was shared among every Elf who walked the lands of Filia.
It was especially useful for instructing the children. Even if something was never explicitly taught, you just...sort of knew what you needed to know, as if someone had told you in a dream. (If Human[sic]/Elf)...You may be an Elf, but not wholly in the sense that I am, so I doubt you know much about the way our emotions intermingle.

- Hah... School?
...I saw Aranwen standing in front of the Dunbarton school several times. ...I thought about approaching thing many times... but knowing her personality... ...

- I was in school for quite a long time, compared to people around me. When I think about it now, I don't think it was that I was particularly book-smart as much as that I was just searching for what it was that I wanted to do with my life.
That's why I have such fond memories of my years in school. In the end, I found the very thing that I wanted to do, and ended up here in Iria.

- There's not as many people that need to go to school... around here anyway... If you're looking for a school, you'll have to head over to Uladh.

- Well if you're looking for a school, what are you here for? I don't think you should have come over to Iria just yet. If you need to go to school still, get back on that boat, and return home to Uladh.

- I've never had a formal education, but I probably would have a lot more friends my age if I'd gone to school, huh?
Hm. That would've been nice. Almost all the people I meet through work are men and women who are quite a bit older than me. That's why I was so happy when I met Linden. I was surprised when he went out of his way to join the Commerce Association. Haha, he's so nice. Maybe even a little too nice, sometimes!
- On the continent of Uladh, there's a small school in Tir Chonaill that teaches the arts of combat and magic.
What was the teacher's name...? Ranald? I learned the fundamentals from him when I was young. My dad always said that it was essential to learn the basics.

- Well, I was an excellent student while I was in school. My teachers used to rave about me. I was always a real hardworker.
So I used to always be amongst the school's top acheiving students even without any special tutors or extra-curricular help. I know that some people really hate it when I talk about myself like this but what the heck... It's not so much that I'm trying to show off so much as that it is simply true.

- Riding a boat in and of itself is a great adventure! I know it can be dangerous at times, but you get so much back in return.
So why is it that you never learn anything about such adventures in school? I really don't understand why it is that schools always enforce everyone to follow the safe road...

- Humans with little experience learn from elders and apply the knowledge learned to their own situations.
You can see that by schooling younger generations, Humans are able to pass down their knowledge... ...I guess that is the best way, since Humans have such short lifespans... Very interesting! *giggle*
