Description

A street artist who is always standing at the same spot in Tara's Square.
The piece of charcoal in his right hand glides passionately on the canvas.

Hans stands in the Tara Square with his eisel. Players can approach him and request their portrait to be drawn (see more information below). He only has the "Start Conversation" button when you talk to him.

Generation 10: Goddess of Light (Spoilers)

Hans talks about an adventure he had in Iria, where he went for sightseeing, but on a hot day in the middle of a desert, he saw a strange elf woman who was so beautiful that he thought "if there is a goddess in this world, it must be her..." so he asked if she could model for him. He used her as a model to make a portrait of Neamhain.

Ironically, later in the generation, Neamhain reveals herself disguised as an elf woman.

Part-Time Jobs

• When modelling for Hans, the Equipment needs to be equipped in the gear slot.
  • Warning: The Part-Time Job will fail if the required Equipment is only worn in the Style Tab.
    • The Equipment does not need to be visible.
• After equipping the requested Equipment, speak with Hans and he will draw a portrait.
  • Hans can only draw for only character at a time, and cannot speak to other characters while he is drawing.
  • This portrait is not necessary to complete the Part-Time Job, and can be discarded immediately.

Hans' Equipment

Personal Portrait

• You can request Hans to draw your portrait for a small fee.
• The portrait can be displayed in your house or personal shop.
  • To put it in your shop, the portrait must be in your item bag for the display option to be available.
• If you are wearing a guild robe, there is a chance the colors of the robe in the finished portrait may be slightly different (i.e. The robe has a green belt in-game, but the portrait displays it as blue).
• Any items on your back, like a quiver or shield, will not be in the portrait.
• Items worn in the Decorative Slot of your inventory will not be in the portrait.
• Halos or Visible Accesories will not be in the portrait, instead there is white space where they would be.
• If you are transformed, that form will be sketched.
• If an emotion is used while the portrait is being sketched, it will not appear in the picture.
• You can bring your portrait to Eluned and have the portrait printed on a Print Casual Wear.

Trivia

• Hans is Endelyon's brother.
• Prior to the BEYOND update, Hans' Basic difficulty Part-Time Job was impossible to complete as a Giant due to him requesting the player wear Popo's Shirt and Pants, which can only be worn by Humans and Elves.
  • It was changed to a Tail Cap with the aforementioned update.
