Description

This otter is standing with his forepaws neatly folded together. Its gazing eyes are warm and soft, and they remind you of the sunset.

Ruwai is a yellow otter who cooks for the village of Cor, and sells the most basic food items and cooking supplies.

Because Ruwai is an animal, he cannot directly communicate to players, but does seem to understand what they are saying. Ruwai can, however, speak to pets, where he asks many questions, and comments on things such as Connous, humans, and the similarities between his name and Ruairi's.

Mainstream Story

Generation 7: Ancient Secrets of Irinid (Spoilers)

Tupai and Ruwai previously ventured to Erkey Falls, where Ruwai borrowed an L-Rod from Voight. Ruwai told Tupai to say behind as the said the area was full of sand that makes eyes blurry and itchy. Ruwai returned to Cor a few days later, along with a very sad mood.

The Milletian tries to cheer Ruwai up with a Rainbow Trout, and in turn receive a rather crude exploration journal. The journal contains many pawprints in a calm-like fashion, but in the later parts of the book they look rougher and smeared, and on the last few pages they were done in a rather hurried fashion with claw marks etched on them which even teared the pages. The Milletian then uses the journal as a memorial item at Longa Desert Ruins to see what Ruwai saw there.

At the Longa Desert Ruins, Ruwai saw the Heart of Courcle with several Desert Ghost Fanatics performing an ancient ritual. After defeating the Desert Ghost Fanatics, the Heart of Courcle calls to Ruwai, telling him to come closer and listen to the voice of fate. Suddenly, another group of Desert Ghost Fanatics appears attempt to subdue Ruwai, but Castanea also arrives and wards off Ruwai's attackers. Castanea turns to Ruwai and tells him that he should never have come as tragic events are beginning and also suggests he forget everything he saw. Ruwai is puzzled that Castaena can directly communicate with him, but she simply tells Ruwai to escape while he can.
