- Long range attack? Hmm... I could tell you some aspects of it, but Ranald is the best person to ask about such things. Don't worry. It's nothing personal. I just think it's better to learn from an expert.
Long range attacks consist of attacking a monster at a distance with a bow or a rock. But you will need to spend some time training yourself, as long range attacks and melee attacks use different muscles.

- There are many kinds of long range attacks. But as far as magic is concerned, there are three basic elemental spells we can talk about.
Firebolt, Icebolt and Lightning Bolt. Those are the three. You can learn all of them if you take a class here. Oh! If you want to teach yourself, you can buy the necessary books here. Of course, it just won't be the same as taking a class. Hmm. By the way, weren't you on your way to the Blacksmith's Shop to buy the stuff Ranald asked you to get? If you are not interested in magic, feel free to leave. Hehehe.

- [gain Bow keyword]
As far as I know, you need a bow before anything else to attack an enemy from a distance. You could perhaps learn magic or something for the same purpose, but magic requires AP to learn and books are also costly. So if it's just the long range attack you're interested in, I suggest you buy a bow and practice on your own. It would take less time and Gold in the end.

- Are you interested in long range attack? It would be better if you went to the School and asked Ranald the instructor.
Long range attack is the act of attacking your opponent from a distance. Magic or arrows are common methods. When you use a bow and arrows, you can inflict damage and heavily injure your enemies. In contrast, magic only reduces their HP without causing any injuries. But that doesn't mean a bow is always better. You must always consider the cost of arrows. And it takes time to aim as well. Magic, on the other hand, does not have such restrictions. Well, except for Mana, of course. ... I would suggest you think it over, and talk to a teacher who specializes in that particular area.

- [replaces with Bow keyword]
Long range attacks? Hmm... Desire alone doesn't cut it. You'll also need to be equipped with an appropriate weapon. There are a number of long range weapons, but go get a bow first. Just use it a couple of times. You won't need any help from others in understanding the basics. If you practice a few times and get to know about the Ranged Attack skill, it means you're doing your job. Ferghus is usually the source for weapons in this town, so go see him at the Blacksmith's Shop.

- If you're talking about long-range attacks... I think it must have something to do with combat skills. Well, I don't know a whole lot about things like that so...

- By long-range attacks, do you mean attacking something from far away? Does that make it somewhat less dangerous for you?
Anyway, I'm the typo of person that needs to do everything right here, in front of my face so I'm not sure that it really goes with my personality.

Long-range attacks, which refer to attacks that are made from a distance usually grow out of the Range Combat Mastery skill. On the other hand, there's another called the close-range attack, which is just as it sounds, literally, opposite of long-range attacks.

- Ranged Attack... ...right... ...All I know about that skill is that it is useful for long-ranged attacks... Hmm...
...But I know this as well: you cannot use that skill without at least a bow or a crossbow. You need a long-range weapon with ammunition in order to use that skill. ...Um... ...And bows and crossbows aren't as powerful as blunt weapons!!! *giggle*

- Yes! Ranged Combat Mastery Skill is the skill that enables you to attack enemies from greater distances!
You will be able to learn this as soon as you equip yourself with a bow! However, if you don't own a bow or crossbow, it is impossible to use! Unlike spirits, Humans need to obey the rules of the material world! *giggle*
