Part-time Jobs

Note: The actual tasks for each NPC's job are not listed here. See the appropriate NPC's page for them. See the table in the Job Times section below for a sortable list of NPCs known to offer part-time jobs.
Basic Information
Part-time Jobs are small tasks players can perform to obtain certain rewards. Players can ask an NPC if a part-time job is available by using the Start a Conversation option and then selecting the Part-Time Jobs Keyword. The NPC will give a general outline of the job they want done as well as the rewards, and the player can refuse or accept the job based on that.
By successfully completing many part-time jobs, one may become close friends with an NPC, and may be given more difficult tasks.
- Basic - Complete 0 ~ 50 times successfully.
- Intermediate Complete 50.1 ~ 100 times successfully with a minimum of 70% success rate.
- Advanced Complete ≥ 100.1 times successfully with a minimum of 92% success rate.
- To find your success rate, multiply your attempts by the error percentage. Where 107 *.94=100.58, which is over 100.1 and would be Advanced.
If a job is only partially completed, the NPC will give a reduced reward, and the job will be considered incomplete. Incomplete jobs count as failures.
The part-time job counter for a particular job type will decrease after three real-life days of not performing that job. Failures are removed from the counter before successes; therefore, the success rate percentage can be improved by simply not doing the job for a few days.
Part-time jobs that require a player to make something (for example, Cheap Leather Straps) usually provide the necessary materials. The major exceptions are the make flour part-time jobs given by Caitin, Elen's part-time job and the weave thread balls part-time jobs given by Malcolm, Walter, and Pierrick.
When completed on Alban Elved (Friday), all part-time jobs have a 20% increase in the experience points and gold rewards. Item rewards are not affected.
For players with a Life Skill related Talent, all part-time jobs have a 50% increase in gold and experience rewards. Item rewards are increased by 10-20%.
If the part-time job offered by an NPC isn't to your liking, changing in-game channels and asking the same NPC again will generally not change the task. However, some NPCs such as Simon have both general and production part-time job categories. Changing channels may allow you to find a channel where the other category is being offered. The particular task in each category will stay the same, but it is possible, for example, to change from delivering garments to making wizard hats.
Items supplied by an NPC for a delivery part-time job can be left in the temporary inventory, if a player's inventory is full, until the delivery is made. It is not necessary to make room in your inventory for these items if you make the delivery in 5 (real-time) minutes or less. The same applies for items supplied by an NPC for weaving or tailoring part-time jobs.
Job Types
- All jobs of the same job type will count for that tally regardless of which NPC gave the job.
- Although a player can do many part-time jobs in a single in-game day, only one of each from a job type can be done.
- For example, if a player does the Healer's House part-time job for Manus in Dunbarton, then the player cannot ask a different NPC that offers Healer's House type part-time jobs (e.g., Dilys in Tir Chonaill) to do another one on the same in-game day. The NPCs will not allow it.
- Some NPCs that provide Healer's House type part-time jobs will reward a player with Holy Water of Lymilark, the same as NPCs that provide Church type part-time jobs.
- Therefore, to be rewarded more Holy Water of Lymilark in one day, a player can do a Healer's House type part-time job in Iria for Heulfryn (any race) in Qilla Base Camp or Kirine (Giants, Giant-allied Humans or non-allied Humans) in Vales and by using Continent Warp, and also do one Church type part-time job in Uladh.
The part-time job title that appears above a player's head may differ from the name given as a job type in the "Part-Time Job" tab of the "Character Information" window. For example, Sion offers Stope type part-time jobs but the title that appears above a player's head is "the Mine Part-Timer."

- The time given in the "Report From" column is the earliest time a part-time job can be reported to an NPC to complete it. However, a part-time job can be reported at any time between the those listed in the "Report From" and "End Time" columns.
- Where the start time, report from or end time has more than one possible time then the earliest is listed in their respective columns and any other times (and an explanation for why they occur) are listed in the "Other Times" column.

Related Titles
Unlike part-time job titles which are only available while a player is doing a part-time job, these titles are available at anytime, with the usual restriction of only being able to change a title once per in-game day. These titles are acquired by doing a set number of part-time jobs from one job type.
