Generation 19
Milletian
With the Milletian constantly fighting to save Erinn, they struggle with their inner self since the fight with the fallen hero Ruairi and him opening a door to another world. Duncan tries to cheer them up by advising them to take a stroll on memory lane. Shortly afterward, they are caught in a war between the Alban Knights and the Prophets and the Apostle Girgashiy who came from the opened door. Having found a new awakening in them, the Milletian searches for the Alban Knights and they reluctantly recruit them.
However, during the battle the Prophets injure the Milletian, which will eventually corrupt them into a Girgashiy. In order to cure them of that state, the Milletian is brought to the Cave of Remorse, a training site for the Alban Knights, at Corrib Valley where they experience the memories of the past: Tarlach's Locket and the Pendant of the Goddess from Generation 1, Paladin-in-Training Dungeon Pass from Generation 2, Anti-Fomor Cloth, Chain of Protection, and Dark Knight Relic from Generation 3, Atrata's Letter from Generation 8, Shadow Walker's Pass from Generation 9, Neamhain's Talisman from Generation 11, Shylock's Journal and Shakespeare's Journal from Generation 15, Eirawen's Bag Coupon from Generation 16, and a Big Beautiful Black Tail from The Saga: Iria. In the deepest part of the Milletian's memory, Tarlach, Rian, Ruairi, Elatha, Shylock, Eirawen, Eavan, Aodhan, Duncan, and Nao appear to thank the Milletian for using their power to help them in the past and changing their lives; the Milletian finally comes to grips of their fear of being unable to protect those around them. Realizing their true destiny in protecting Erinn, they learn Crusader Skills, achieving the power needed to combat the Prophets and their puppets.
The Milletian would come to use that power to defend Erinn and its inhabitants, praised as a God that fights other Gods that would seek Erinn's demise.
Altam
Just outside of Rath Royal Castle gates, Altam introduces himself as a huge fan to the Milletian and says to have been trying to follow in their footsteps.
The pair meet again outside of Tir Chonaill's inn. Altam appears to be glum for making a mistake in battle, resulting a brethren injured. He then requests the Milletian's help and to meet him in Sidhe Sneachta. There, his captain Avelin reprimands Altam for getting the Milletian involved, and refuses to divulge any information to them.
Shortly afterward, the Milletian investigates Sidhe Sneachta again to find Lassar, only to be ambushed by the Apostle Girgashiy. Altam and Avelin arrive to fend off the beast, where it is vanquished by Avelin's Judgment Blade. Pennar then ambushes the Milletian and commends their strength, then leaves. Avelin is then forced to explain the situation in Altam's stead.
Lassar then becomes curious about her rescuers and asks the Milletian to find them, only for them to have left Tir Chonaill. Fortunately, Piaras mentions that the two knights recited something about God and Lassar discovers it was an old saying about Aton Cimeni from a mysterious cult that disappeared. Meven also recalls saying the same phrase in his youth. The Milletian then takes a request to help a Farm Owner fend off wild and mutated boars; he claims to have not seen the knights, but says the appearance of the knights and the mutated boars are no coincidence. A Farmhand then warns the Milletian about his bounty hunter friends seeing a ogre down at Gairech Hill mentioning about serving some god, and were planning to capture it; the bounty hunters explain that several knights captured the ogre and the church of Lymilark issued the bounty.
Speaking to Kristell, she simply says that all will be revealed in time and vaguely says the two knights work for an organization called the Alban Knights, acting in secret to achieve their goals, and advises they do not approach them. She explains that the Alban Knights worked in history and acted as a powerful organization of holy warriors who vanished as soon as they came, secretly pulling strings across Erinn to safeguard it and acted under Aton Cimeni's will. Kristell says the knights approached the church leaders across Erinn and have forged an alliance with them. Kristell once again warns the Milletian not to approach them alone, as there is no telling what they want and could be very dangerous, explaining that when they approached her one of them said they would "eradicate any foreign creature who would dare sully this world," which could not only mean the Gigarshiy but also the Milletian.
Comgan calls for the Milletian, saying that he received a letter stating a female knight wished to meet them just outside Bangor. Avelin warns the Milletian to stop searching for them as their actions have aroused much rumors about the knights and Altam's superiors accused him of betrayal for breaking oath by contacting the Milletian for aid. However, Talvish later informs the two that his superiors are taking Altam's case very carefully. Later, Talvish reports that Altam was placed into a temporary unit with younger knights.
Altam's punishment is eventually lifted and is allowed to rejoin Avelin and Talvish. He and Avelin arrive at Tara to help fend off the mutant creatures and also leads the Milletian to the Cave of Remorse at Corrib Valley, a training site for the Alban Knights, but warns them that it consists of every memory they have including the ones they fear the most. Once the Milletian undergoes the trial and learns Shield of Trust, Altam realizes the Milletian's greatest fear is failing to protect those around them. Avelin then detects the presence of a Girgashiy at Taillteann. This Girgashiy proves to be more powerful, being much larger and possesses wings, but even with its new attacks it is blocked by the Milletian's Shield of Trust. After its defeat, Avelin orders the two to take a rest.
Avelin tracks the Prophets to Morva Aisle. After fighting them, Pennar says they will "take the queen", indicating that they are going after Eirawen. Talvish tasks the Milletian to protect her while the three knights continue pursuing the Prophets, using his power to arm the Milletian with Altam's Celestial Spike and Avelin's Judgment Blade.
Following the Milletian's battle at Rath Royal Castle, Altam notes that they are now receiving more fame. He promises the Milletian that he will eventually become strong to become recognized. He also notes that the Girgashiy will keep coming as long as the Prophets are still out there.
Avelin
At Sidhe Sneachta, Avelin acts as Altam's commanding officer and reprimands him for trying to get the Milletian involved in their work. She refuses to divulge information to them, vaguely saying the recent rumors of strange animal behavior and mysterious beasts possess no "monsters" but the townsfolk should keep their doors shut.
Avelin then explains to the Milletian that the Girgashiy were formerly human beings of Erinn, corrupted from a twisted energy from another world. She also warns the Milletian of the wolfman Pennar, who is responsible for creating the Girgashiy and serves a foul god, and is not working alone. Avelin simply says she an Altam are people protecting Erinn but does not divulge any further and warns them not to speak to anyone about this, and also warns them not to show mercy to future Girgashiy.
Brilluen appears to taunt Avelin and summons a Girgashiy, which proves to be much more stronger than the previous. The Milletian and Avelin struggle and attempt to flee, but are stopped by the arrival of Talvish, who uses his power to weaken the Girgashiy and allow them to defeat it, but Brilluen escapes. Talvish then tells Avelin that their superiors are handling Atlam's punishment and to trust their judgment. Talvish then offers the Milletian to join the Alban Knights, having already suggested it to their superiors, much to Avelin's surprise.
At the Alban Knight's secret assembly at Emain Macha, Avelin concerns herself with Altam's actions.
The Milletian fights and defeats Pennar at Abb Neagh, who quickly flees. Avelin senses something amiss since Pennar never flees from battle, suggesting they evacuate the Bard Camp before investigating, but Talvish counters that it would take too much time and allow Pennar to escape. Avelin submits and the knights investigate. However, the two knights argue about the choice made. The eventually find Pennar, who summons a Girgashiy and continues fleeing; the knights mop up the mess while the Milletian pushes forward. However, the Milletian is ambushed by Pennar, aided by Brilluen and Marcan, and the three Prophets use their divine power to effortlessly overwhelm the Milletian's Demigod. Avelin laments that she did not save the Milletian in time as Talvish guides them to a cure. Avelin then orders the Milletian to take a rest until they are fully healed. In the meantime, the two knights would reunite themselves with Altam and continue fighting the Prophets.
However, the Milletian is forced to help Eirawen fight off the mutant animals who have now approached Tara. The Albain Knights arrive to assist and Avelin chastises the Milletian for taking action, which is overheard by Tara's guards and are sent into a panic. She takes the Milletian off the battlefield and informs them that their superiors allowed them to enter the Cave of Remorse at Corrib Valley, a training site for the Alban Knights. Once the Milletian finishes their training, Avelin detects the presence of a Girgashiy at Taillteann.
Following the Milletian's battle at Rath Royal Castle, Avelin is a bit worried with a new recruit who she believes to be worse than Altam. She tells the Milletian to stay safe.
Talvish
Talvish helps the Milletian and Avelin when they struggle against the Apostle Girgashiy summoned by Brilluen in Bangor, using his power to weaken the beast and allow them to defeat it, but Brilluen escapes. Talvish expresses his honor in meeting the Milletian and introduces himself as a member of the Alban Knights. He then tells Avelin that Altam's punishment for breaking oath by requesting the Milletian, an outsider to the organization, for aid, is being handled by their superiors and to trust their judgment. Talvish then offers the Milletian to join the Alban Knights, having already suggested it to their superiors. He then explains the organization are locked in a battle with the Prophets, a group of heretic Fomors who worship a false god and use their twisted divine magic to transform innocent beings into monsters. Talvish goes on saying that Iria was compromised due to their fight with the demigod Cessairs, and that the organization have kept constant watch under the Milletian because of how dangerous they are. He then refuses to divulge any more information and turns to the doorway that the Milletian allowed Ruairi to open, explaining that it is very similar to the Soul Stream and the door to the gods, allowing an outsider god to enter Erinn and spread its influence. The Milletian makes the ultimate decision to join the Alban Knights.
Inviting them to their secret assembly at Emain Macha, Talvish reports that Altam was placed in a temporary unit with younger knights and had been given permission by his superiors to share more information. Talvish explains that the Alban Knights was formed when Aton Cimeni directly spoke to a cleric and ordered him to create an order of holy knights. The cleric then gave two commands: the first is that Erinn must mature without any outside influence or hindrance, the second is that any interlopers must be stopped at all costs. As such, the knights have borrowed the power of gods to combat the otherworldly threat, and operate in secret because the people of Erinn may misconstrue their actions when they are actually protecting Erinn. He tells them to follow him and Avelin in order to understand their cause.
Talvish instructs them to follow up about the rumors to locate the Prophets. Talking to Lucas directly, he reveals that the mutated animals have not only attacked Dunbarton but also Taillteann; Talvish warns the Milletian to be more subtle in their approach as information from when asked directly is unreliable and because of that and their naivety allowed them to be taken advantage of. Regardless of the information source, Talvish sends the Milletian to investigate. The Milletian takes a more subtle approach toward Nerys and Brenda, who mentioned that they were approached by a "giant with fangs" and were heading to "a forest near town". Talvish heads over to Abb Neagh and feels something is off; at the Bard Camp, Cailean mentions that Hamelin saw a golden light at Abb Neagh Lake. Talvish explains that light signals the birth of a new Girgashiy, indicating the presence of a nearby Prophet. He leaves to call Avelin.
Shortly afterward, the Milletian fights and defeats Pennar, who quickly flees. Talvish senses a divine awakening in the Milletian but warns them not to rely on that power as the Prophets are trying to break them from within; the injury they inflicted on the Milletian will eventually grow to rupture them and would transform them into a Girgashiy, and their demigod would only fuel that transformation. Talvish says the only cure requires intense meditation and training, but requires permission from the knight's superiors. Talvish plans on doing his best to help the Milletian, but the group should at least celebrate for saving the Bard Camp. In the meantime, the two knights would reunite themselves with Altam and continue fighting the Prophets.
After fighting the Prophets at Morva Aisle, Pennar reveals that they will "take their queen", indicating that they are going after Eirawen. Talvish tasks the Milletian to protect her while the three knights continue pursuing the Prophets, using his power to arm the Milletian with Altam's Celestial Spike and Avelin's Judgment Blade.
Following the Milletian's battle at Rath Royal Castle, Talvish is surprised that the Milletian is capable of handling multiple Crusader powers. He tells them that they would have to work to master all the three abilities and that if they can do so they can defeat their enemies and protect those around them. Talvish then explains the crest at the Knight Assembly Area will teleport the Milletian directly to an Apostle. He then officially welcomes the new Alban Knight.
Brilluen
Brilluen appears to taunt Avelin for talking to the Milletian and summons the Apostle Girgashiy, which proves to be much more stronger than the one summoned by Pennar earlier. The Milletian and Avelin struggle and attempt to flee, but are stopped by the arrival of Talvish, who uses Celestial Spike to weaken the Girgashiy and allow them to defeat it, but Brilluen escapes.
Talvish then explains that Brilluen is a member of the Prophets, a group of heretic Fomors who worship a false god. The Prophets have divine power to mutate innocent creatures into Apostles. The Alban Knights were formed to fight against the Prophets.
Brilluen, along with Marcan later assists Pennar at Abb Neagh. The three Prophets use their divine power to effortlessly overwhelm the Milletian's Demigod. Talvish explains the injury they had done would eventually corrupt the Milletian from inside and turn them into a Girgashiy.
Avelin tracks the Prophets to Morva Aisle and fights them; Pennar and Marcan express annoyance at Brilluen when she constantly yammers and taunts her opponents. After the Prophet's defeat, Brilluen teases about leaking information of their plans, which Marcan and Pennar again tells her to keep her mouth shut.
Marcan
A Farmhand warns the Milletian about his bounty hunter friends seeing a ogre down at Gairech Hill mentioning about serving some god, and were planning to capture it. The bounty hunters explain that several knights captured the ogre and the church of Lymilark issued the bounty.
Talvish later explains that Marcan is a member of the Prophets, a group of heretic Fomors who worship a false god. The Prophets have divine power to mutate innocent creatures into Apostles. The Alban Knights were formed to fight against the Prophets.
Marcan, along with Brilluen, later assists Pennar at Abb Neagh.
After the Prophet's defeat, Marcan again tells Brilluen to keep her mouth shut.
Pennar
The Milletian investigates Sidhe Sneachta again to find Lassar, only to be ambushed by the Apostle Girgashiy. Altam and Avelin arrive to fend off the beast, where it is vanquished by Avelin's Judgment Blade. Pennar then ambushes the Milletian and commends their strength, then leaves. Avelin explains the wolfman Pennar is responsible for creating the Girgashiy, corrupting humans with twisted energy from another world, and serves a foul god, and is not working alone.
Talvish later explains that Pennar is a member of the Prophets, a group of heretic Fomors who worship a false god. The Prophets have divine power to mutate innocent creatures into Apostles. The Alban Knights were formed to fight against the Prophets.
Pennar appears at Abb Neagh creating more Girgashiy and takes the honor of fighting the Milletian, and quickly leaves after defeat. Avelin senses something amiss since Pennar never flees from battle and the knights investigate. The eventually find Pennar, who summons a Girgashiy and continues fleeing; the knights mop up the mess while the Milletian pushes forward. Pennar laments his dishonor as Brilluen and Marcan appear, and the three Prophets use their divine power to effortlessly overwhelm the Milletian's Demigod.
After the Prophet's defeat, Pennar again tells Brilluen to keep her mouth shut, but mentions that they will "take the queen", indicating that they are going after Eirawen.
Black Wizard
During the Prophets' assault on Rath Royal Castle, a Black Wizard appears to turn several humans into Apostle Girgashiy. After the Milletian defeats the Girgashiy, the Black Wizard temporarily renders Eirawen and her guards unconscious, then commends the Milletian for their growth but their power still has no leash, and pushes them back effortlessly. The Black Wizard warns them that when their power finds a way, the world will face a rebirth of its own, and vanishes.
Duncan
Duncan calls for the Milletian and notes that they are looking so glum ever since they fought a fallen hero. He tries to cheer them up by reminding them of their heroism and sends them on a trip to memory lane by taking Meven's request.
After a refreshing journey of several errands, Duncan warns the Milletian of strange events: the wild animals have been increasingly aggressive and actively attacking livestock and mysterious beasts have appeared from flashes of lights, putting the residents of Tir Chonaill in concern. He advises the Milletian to use calm down the residents. Shortly afterward, Duncan is alarmed to discover Lassar heading off to Sidhe Sneachta despite the danger and urges the Milletian to go after her. After saving her from a Girgashiy, Duncan thanks the Milletian and senses they have found a new purpose, and urges them to pursue it.
Eirawen
Having heard rumors of the churches forming a secret cult, Eirawen sends the Milletian to investigate. However, a direct confrontation with Corentin and Pencast results them claiming to be doing no such thing, annoying Eirawen. Talvish later says the Milletian's lack of subtlety was what annoyed her.
While the Milletian aids the Alban Knights and fights against the Prophets, the Prophet's mutated creatures storm Tara. Eirawen immediately calls the Milletian for help and they are forced to do so despite an injury inflicted on them by the Prophets and the Alban Knights ordering them to rest.
Eventually the creatures manage to breech into Rath Royal Castle, followed by a Black Wizard who uses its divine power to turn a pair of humans into Apostle Girgashiy. Despite the alarming threat and the urging of her guards, Eirawen refuses to retreat and stands by the Milletian's side, believing them as a God meant to protect her and her kind from other Gods, even if it means risking her own life. Once the Milletian defeats the Girgashiy, the Black Wizard renders Eirawen unconscious before leaving.
After the battle, Eirawen expresses her gratitude to the Milletian for saving her like a hero in a legend, and promises to never doubt them again, forever believing in them and their power.
Young Tarlach
In The Saga: Iria II, Tarlach planned to open a door to another world, believing an otherworldly God would come to Erinn and fight its Gods. With the help of Ruairi's sacrifice, the two successfully opened the door.
As predicted, the otherworldly entity entered Erinn. However, an entirely different outcome had occurred: instead of attacking Erinn's Gods, the outsider spread its influence on the innocent beings and assault the world. This would then set the stage for Generation 19.
