Description

His dark red eyes mimic the color of the skies in the Shadow Realm, and his deep, unfocused voice oozes like thick liquid through the dead air.

Elatha is a Shadow Walker. Despite looking like an Incubus, he does not appear to be on the Fomorians' side.

He may also be found in Defeat Crag Cow and The Stones of Sliab Cuilin, where you can then talk to him about "Shadow Walker" and "Arat Berry." If "End Conversation" is chosen, Elatha disappears.

Mainstream Story

Generation 9: Alchemist (Spoilers)

Berched claimed to have found Elatha injured and helped him back to health. He currently roams the Shadow Realm, and known as the "Shadow Walker". He then visualizes Elatha's past to the Milletian.

In Coill Dungeon, Lebbaeus, another Incubus, claims that Elatha is the "Blade of Betrayal" to the Fomorians and lacks Incubus bloodline, but was only accepted among his "kind" because of the Dark Lord's request. Elatha says he only came to find out Lebbaeus' destiny, though he scoffs at this. Elatha then simply defeats him and then leaves without a word.

It is later revealed that Elatha came to a 10-year old Andras and had convinced her change her destiny rather than running away from it.

Generation 10: Goddess of Light (Spoilers)

Andras later reveals that she and Elatha had became very good friends after the incident, and worries about him much. It states that Elatha was suffering by the "shadow" within the darkness and tries to find out why. Driven by anger, Andras had a music box which contained a soothing sound to calm him down.

Elatha later appeals to the Milletian to resurrect Neamhain by using four fragments of her. After locating her memories from the fragments, Elatha had gone to locate the Dark Lord.

When Elatha finds Dark Lord Morgant, the Incubus proclaims that Morgant had something to do with his birth pact. Morgant says that Elatha acted too hasty when he rose his blade against Lebbaeus. When the topic changes to searching Elatha's past, the Dark Lord states the "seed is sown in Iria."

Elatha appeals to Cichol in Assist the Shadow Realm Expeditionary Force, saying that killing everyone before the God is not necessary for his plans and does nothing to serve for Tir Na Nog's doom. Cichol tells him that they should "die by the method they deserve" and attacks Elatha, who states "Damn the Gods," but when Cichol fires his blast, Elatha glows a white aura and somehow survives. Cichol is intrigued by this, and says he wants to make a "Notiar Arat" (World of Darkness in Fomorian) pact with him to let everyone live longer. After glancing back at Andras, Elatha agrees to this, and the Fomors leave; Andras cries the Incubus' name as he vanishes.

Cichol takes Elatha before Neamhain, who proclaims she is the Incubus' mother. Cichol offers Elatha to the Doppelganger, Neamhain tries to convince Elatha to fight against the darkness and use the light within him. Elatha declines, saying that his mother had forced him into the light in which he was not destined to. Before Elatha is absorbed, he gives a Music Box to the Milletian to entrust safety to the Soul Stream. The Doppelganger then inherits Elatha's divine powers and then proceeds to destroy the Soul Stream. The Milletian uses Life Drain to extract the divinity from the Doppelganger and uses it to destroy the creature.

Generation 12: Return of the Hero (Spoilers)

Nuadha mentions Elatha where his death would cause Neamhain to ally with him and rally against Morrighan.

• In Irish Mythology, Elatha is the father of Bres, who served as King of the Tuatha de Danann after Nuada lost the throne after losing his arm. When Nuada reclaimed the throne and removed Bres from his position, Elatha refused to help Bres get it back unjustly, stating that he should not take by unjust actions what he could not keep by just actions.
• Elatha is considered to be a "beautiful Fomor" in the Mythology, which may explain why he is portrayed as an Incubus.
• Despite Elatha having Rank 6 Alchemy Mastery, he has no alchemy skills.
• Although Berched says he found Elatha injured, he simply defeated Lebbaeus, and it does not show him injured.
