- Defense, Protection, Magic Defense, and Magic Protection increase, available at all Erg Ranks.
- Stun Resistance Rate % increase, available at Rank A and Rank S.
- Close Combat Skill Cooldowns % decrease, only available at Rank S.
- The cooldown reduction excludes Final Hit, Stomp, Taunt, Wind Guard, Stampede, and Final Strike.
Tips
- Due to the high costs of investing in Erg and the relatively low returns of Two-Handed Blunt Weapon Erg it is currently not recommended to invest in Erg enhancements for this weapon type, unless one has the means spare or a specific need.
- There are much more effective options for Erg enhancing Close Combat weapons, varying depending on race:
- Humans will benefit more from dual wielding One-Handed Swords, or Two-Handed Swords.
- Elves have the most Close Combat potential with One-Handed Axes, due to their inability to dual wield or use Two-Handed Swords.
- Giants will benefit more from dual wielding One-Handed Blunt Weapons, or Two-Handed Swords.
- Rank S for Two-Handed Blunt Weapons are among the cheapest weapons of their Rank to advance, but their bonus effects have much less value due to the Two-Handed Blunt Weapon Spirit Weapon Amplitude upgrade.
- The Stun Resistance works akin to Iron Will, but with a fixed % chance to activate for a single hit.
- The cooldown reduction is more visibly effective on skills with longer cooldowns, but has significant value in bringing shorter cooldowns closer to zero.
- However, the Two-Handed Blunt Weapon Spirit Weapon Amplitude upgrade, which has a chance to reset the cooldown of Rage Impact upon achieving a Critical Hit, reduces the value of this bonus effect.
- Rage Impact would have it's cooldown reduced by 4.5 seconds at Rank S Level 50 (down to 25.5 seconds) compared to a Human's Windmill, which reduces the cooldown by 0.525 seconds (down to 2.975 seconds).
- The cooldown reduction stacks additively with other cooldown reduction effects, such as Arcana Link Bonuses.
- Rage Impact would have it's cooldown reduced by 4.5 seconds at Rank S Level 50 (down to 25.5 seconds) compared to a Human's Windmill, which reduces the cooldown by 0.525 seconds (down to 2.975 seconds).
