- This page lists Erg information for One-Handed Blunt Weapons.
- The bonuses available are:
- Weapon Damage increase, available at all Erg Ranks.
- Defense, Protection, Magic Defense, and Magic Protection increase, available at all Erg Ranks.
- Stun Resistance Rate % increase, available at Rank A and Rank S.
- Close Combat Skill Cooldowns % decrease, only available at Rank S.
- The cooldown reduction excludes Final Hit, Stomp, Taunt, Wind Guard, Stampede, and Final Strike.
Tips
- For Humans and Elves, it is not recommended to invest in One-Handed Blunt Weapon Erg.
- Humans reap greater benefits from One-Handed Swords than Blunt Weapons, due to being able to dual wield them.
- Elves reap greater benefits from One-Handed Axes, due to their limitations with other Close Combat weapons.
- It's recommended to begin One-Handed Blunt Weapon Erg at Rank A to avoid the expensive sacrifice materials of early Rank S, but it is recommended to advance to Rank S Level 50 as soon as possible.
- The Close Combat Cooldown Reduction of One-Handed Blunt Weapons is larger than all other Close Combat Weapons, but the Defenses and Protections are half that of other Close Combat Weapons.
- The Stun Resistance works akin to Iron Will, but with a fixed % chance to activate for a single hit.
- Giants can Dual Wield One-Handed Blunt Weapons. All Erg bonuses from both blunt weapons will be applied.
- For example, Dual Wielding two Rank S Level 50 One-Handed Blunt Weapons will decrease Close Combat Skill Cooldowns by 50%. If one has the resources to do so, it is highly recommended to invest in two Erg Rank S One-Handed Blunt Weapons.
- When cooldown reduction effects from multiple sources are present, effects that reduce cooldown by a fixed amount are applied first (i.e. Skill cooldown Reforges and Echostones) and percentage based reductions are summed up and applied last (i.e. weapons with Erg, Arcana Link effects).
- For example, rank 1 Rage Impact has an initial cooldown of 30 seconds. If the user has a Rage Impact Cooldown Reduction 20 Echostone, is dual wielding two Erg Rank S Level 50 blunt weapons, and has unlocked Link 7 in Elemental Knight:
- The echostone applies first as it reduces a fixed 20 seconds from the cooldown, leaving 10 seconds as the remainder.
- Percentage based reductions are all added up, each blunt weapon adds 25% and Link 7 adds 10% for a total of 60% reduction. The 60% reduction is applied to the remaining 10 seconds, with a final cooldown of 4 seconds.
- For example, rank 1 Rage Impact has an initial cooldown of 30 seconds. If the user has a Rage Impact Cooldown Reduction 20 Echostone, is dual wielding two Erg Rank S Level 50 blunt weapons, and has unlocked Link 7 in Elemental Knight:
