Nekojima

Description and Geography
Nekojima, or Cat Island in Japanese, is an event island exclusive to the Japanese server. As the name implies, Nekojima is an island full of cats.[1]
During the event, if the player takes a voyage between Port Ceann and Port Qilla, a storm will interrupt the boat ride, causing the player to crash land on Nekojima. The player can access Nekojima after the event using a Waxen Wing of the Blue Goddess bought from Thathis the village chief.
Nekojima is notable for its gold Metallurgy spots along the beach as well as the Nekojima Dungeon located just north of the concert hall.
Dog-type pets cannot be summoned on Nekojima, and any rat-type pets will be attacked by the Neko Knights.
The Golden Rat Man Field Boss spawns near the smaller island on the southwest, Nezumijima (Rat Island in Japanese).

Gems found on Nekojima have the same appearance as those found in Iria, but cannot be used for upgrading.

Trivia
- The island is shaped after the real-life Nekojima of Japan.
- Some bits of Nekojima can be spotted in Doki Doki Island, like the warning sign for the Rat Island at the southwest, even if there are no rats in Doki Doki.
- Doki Doki Island was modeled after Nekojima, sharing the same geographical structure, fished-up items list, and background music, as well Cat's Eyes to be found through Metallurgy. However, Doki Doki Island lacks Nekojima's dungeon or its other gems from Metallurgy.
