Advice
|
- Magic Counter is recommended.
- Use magic bolts, as they are extremely effective and produce full damage.
- HP potions are highly recommended.
- You can have two or more people repeatedly use Firebolt or Icebolt on one rat, but each player must take turns attacking, to prevent knockdown gauge resets (which will cause the rat to suddenly come running at you).
- Someone with high Int performing Chain Casting with Firebolt is very effective.
- Using lightning chain cast wand can also be proven useful for stunning multiple rats at the same time.
- Notorious for being hell against archers, beware to use any ranged skills besides Magnum Shot, and remember that your damage is reduced by ~80% due to Natural Shield + Protection.
- For an archer, one can use Counterattack, which will force the rat to wait until the knockdown gauge goes empty before moving again, allowing you to shoot a Magnum Shot, or such at it.
- Their low combat power make them an easy target for a bard's Lullaby or Enthralling Performance.
