You are cordially invited to MabiLand, a special carnival to celebrate 8 wonderful years of Mabinogi! There are lots of mini-games, prizes, and tons of food! Thank you for all the memories Milletians, and here's to many more.

Arriving at MabiLand

• Visit Dero the Eventsman outside of MabiLand, which is located near Tir Chonaill Trading Post.
• Set your main character for the duration of the event. Your selection will receive rewards from Daily Quests (Daily Quests reset at 7:00 AM Pacific).

Hammer Game

This famous carnival game is a great way to earn a 8th Anniversary Giftbox! You can get up to 20 Giftboxes a day.

• Form a party with your friends, a minimum of two players are needed to play.
• The party leader must reserve a game by speaking to the Hammer Game Guide.
• When it's your turn to play, click on the Hammer Game stand to charge the hammer.
• You'll have 30 seconds to give the Hammer Stand a good whack, if you wait too long you'll forfeit your turn.
• The person with the highest score at the end of game will win a 8th Anniversary Giftbox!

Roulette Game

Get a prize daily you'll get a roulette coin to try your luck on the Roulette Game! Possible prizes include:

Popularity Contest

This festival game makes it okay to play favorites! Pick your favorite NPC and receive a 8th Anniversary Giftbox every day!

• Everyday you'll receive a Popularity Contest Sticker
• Head over to the Popularity Contest Board located next to the Erinn Popularity Contest Helper.
• You'll be able to vote for one of two NPC's. You can visit the board to see how your favorite NPC is doing.
• This is a 36 bracket tournament to decide who is the most popular NPC!
• You'll have from Wednesday, Mar. 18 until Thursday, Apr. 16 to vote! The last week of the event is to show off the winner of the Popularity Contest!

Rock, Paper, Scissors

Rock, Paper, Scissors is a great way to pass the time! Show your friends you're a Master by winning titles and earning buffs!

• How to Play
• Rewards

• After selecting your main character for MabiLand through Caravan Joe in Dunbarton, you'll receive a Match book. This will allow you to challenge other Milletians. Simply right-click on the book to let other players you're ready for an epic battle of Rock, Paper, Scissors!
• To pick your weapon, you'll need Rock, Paper, or Scissors tickets, which are given to you daily every 10 minutes you're logged on. You can get up to 30 tickets each day.
• When someone accepts your challenge, the match will begin.
• You will have 5 seconds to make your selection from the Rock, Paper, or Scissors tickets you have collected.
• If a selection is not made within the 5 second time limit, a random ticket will be chosen for you.

• Speak to Duro the Trialkeeper to set your main character. Only the main character may participate in this dungeon.
• After setting your main character, you will receive 3 Cave of Trials Entry Passes. 3 Passes are given Daily.
• The Cave of Trials is a 1 room dungeon with 10 waves of enemies. The enemies will become more difficult with each wave, and the prizes more enticing!
• This dungeon is challenging! No pets or parties are allowed, and definitely no reviving!

Clear waves to receive Conqueror's Chests. These chests hold a multitude of rewards, which will randomly be selected.

• There are a total of 30 notes to collect. They will drop randomly from monsters around Erinn.
  • Thank-you Notes will only drop from monsters who are Boss, Awful, Strong, and Normal.
  • Monsters that are considered Weak or Weakest will not drop Thank-you Notes.

Details

MabiLand Campfire

• Create a Campfire and sit down for at least 10 minutes total to receive a buff.
  • Logging out or changing channels will reset the timer if the buff is not active.
• You will gain approximately 5 Experience per second as you sit beside the campfire.
• After 10 minutes, you will receive the following buffs for 30 minutes upon standing up or once the fire disappears:
  • Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, Will, and Luck +20
  • Max Life, Mana, and Stamina +100
  • Critical, Defense, Protection, and Magic Defense +5
  • +30 Max Damage
• After 10 minutes, you also get a Mabi Coin and a 8th Anniversary Gift Box
  • You may only receive this once per real day.

Hammer Game Details

A player attempting to hit the Hammer Game Stand

A minimum of 2 players are required to play. Up to 8 players can play at once. All players must be in the same party. The party leader must speak to the Hammer Game Manager to register his/her party at the Hammer Game. During your turn, click on the Hammer Game stand to begin charging the hammer. Each player has 30 seconds to click the Hammer Game stand or he/she will forfeit his/her turn. The more the hammer is charged, the higher the score, but beware of latency. Registering a game as a party leader will complete the quest Hammer Game Daily Quest. You do not need to have anyone else in the party to complete the quest, but the game will not start with only one person in the party. Quest resets at EDT: 10:00am UTC: 2:00pm AEST: 12:00am 7:00am PDT100. You will receive a 8th Anniversary Gift Box if you get a score of 700 or more. Note that you must also be the top score in your party. You can earn up to 20 gift boxes a day from the Hammer Game.

Popularity Contest Details

• Log in during the event to receive a Popularity Contest Sticker.
• There is no quest associated with this event.
• Voting ends on April 16^th.
• There are two board locations: One to the left of the Cave of Trials, the other to the right of the Salty Snack Vendor.
  • Click the board to vote for your favorite NPC. This can be done up to three times per real day provided you have Popularity Contest Stickers in your inventory.
  • You can view your log on the NPC(s) you voted on previous days.
  • You can view the current popular NPCs by clicking the 'Standings' button on the upper left corner.
    • Standings update at 8
• When you have completed the voting, you will receive a 8th Anniversary Gift Box.

The Fattening Details

• Log in during the 8th Anniversary Event to receive the quest The Fattening.
  • The quest dishes cannot traded, and consuming the dishes via Campfire sharing will not fulfill the quest objectives.
    • (However they can be traded to other characters on the same account via the bank, including the broccoli).

• Upon logging in, you will receive a Waxen Wing of the Blue Goddess to Dunbarton.
• Talk to Caravan Joe, located at the Unicorn Statue, which is located south of the Bank.
  • You will receive 1 Rock Match Ticket, Paper Match Ticket, Scissors Match Ticket, and Rock Paper Scissors Match Book.
• Every 10 minutes you will randomly obtain either a Rock, Paper, or Scissors Match Ticket.
  • You may only receive up to 30 tickets each day. This resets at EDT: 3:00am
    UTC: 7:00am
    AEST: 5:00pm
    12:00am PDT100.
• To request a match, right click the Rock Paper Scissors Match Book, and select Notify.
  • You may not request a match while the Log Off penalty is applied.
• A yellow sign with a random slogan will appear above your character.
  • Another player may request a match by clicking on the sign above your character.
  • You may not join another player's request while advertising.
• The requester must wait for the notified player to accept or decline the match.
  • The requester may cancel the match by selecting Cancel while waiting.
  • If multiple players request, only notification from the last requester will appear.
• Both player will have 5 seconds to select a hand to use.
  • It is possible to change the selection during the countdown.
• Both players will reveal the hand used and will determine the winner and loser.
  • If either player enters Combat Mode, the match will end with no loss of tickets.
  • If both players end in a draw, you will not lose a ticket and will continue playing.
  • If both players end in 5 draws, the game will end for both players and no ticket will be used.
  • If a player leaves the area, disconnects, or channel changes during the match, the one that did not will receive an automatic win.
• The bonus effects and related daily quest reset at EDT: 3:00am

Cave of Trials Details

• Talk to Duro the Trialkeeper.
  • You must first log into a character you wish to be the Main Character for the Cave of Trials during the event duration.
  • Talk to Duro to select the currently logged in character as the Main Character.
    • You will be asked twice for confirmation.
• You will be given 3 Cave of Trials Entry Passes after confirming the main character.
  • You will receive new Cave of Trial Entry Passes at EDT: 10:00am
    UTC: 2:00pm
    AEST: 12:00am
    7:00am PDT100.
    • These will replace any remaining passes, so you may only have 3 at a time.
• Talk to Duro with a Cave of Trials Entry Pass in your inventory to enter the Shadow Mission, Cave of Trials.
  • You must go alone.
  • Duro will not let you in if you have a Rag Doll in your inventory.
• Once inside the Cave of Trials:
  • You have 40 minutes to complete the trial.
  • Hit the switch in one of the corners to begin.
  • You can use Transformation Skills
  • You cannot consume Food or use any other items besides potions.
  • You cannot summon Pets, Partners, or Dolls while inside.
  • You cannot use Nao, Guardian Soul Stones or Revival Balloons to get up upon being Knocked Unconscious.
  • Flame of Resurrection buffs from a Phoenix pet will not work inside the cave. (However, you will have the buff when you exit, if it has not expired.)
  • You cannot request a revival via Advanced Phoenix Feather.
  • You can return to town upon being Knocked Unconscious or press Exit on the top right of your screen to return to the entrance.
  • Blessings may be lost upon being Knocked Unconscious.
• There are 11 trials, each wave getting progressively stronger as you defeat each wave.
  • You will fight the following monsters: Giant Spider → Small Golem (Moss) → Siren → Black Succubus (Advanced) → Tabhartas → Claimh Solas → Merrow → Grim Reaper → Master Lich → Glas Ghaibhleann → Duro
    • Siren can summon Sahagins, Master Lich can summon Ghasts, and Glas Ghaibhleann can summon Light Gargoyles
    • Applicable bosses do not count for their entry in the Transformation Diary.
    • Siren can drop her mask from a critical Smash.
  • Each boss you defeat will drop a Conqueror's Chest at your character's feet that is the same number as the trial.
  • You will receive a Vanquisher's Title for each wave you clear.
  • You will also receive a Advanced by Leaps and Bounds Title if you clear a higher wave than you did in the 7th Anniversary trials.
• Clearing all 11 trials will reward you 110,000 Experience points and a 8th Anniversary Check, which contains 110,000 Gold.

Sneaky Milletian Developer Details

• Log in with the designated character for the MabiLand 8th Anniversary Celebration Event to receive the quest, The Suspicious Milletian.
• Talk to the Sneaky Milletian Developer located near the Tir Chonaill Moongate.
• You will be given a Developer's Thank-you Note collection book.
• To collect a note, defeat monsters that are similar, strong, awful, or boss-ranked.
  • You may get multiples of the same note upon defeating them.
• Collect all 30 Developer's Thank-you Notes and complete the book.
  • Once the book is completed, receive the reward from the collection book and talk to the Sneaky Milletian Developer to receive an Overtime Prep Items, which exclusively contains an Almond Chocolate Bar, Battery, Clean Socks, Energy Drink, and Sweet Coffee, an Employee ID, a Get Off Work On Time Charm, and Developer's Slippers.
