Sometime after the Milletian and Millia escape from the Unknown Man, she returns to Cor Village with the misunderstanding cleared, and is mentored by Akule. Shortly afterward, Cor Village is under attack by a Gigantic Demon, who is actually a transmogrified Milletian. After Akule frees the Milletian's consciousness, he telepathically tells them to find him; Millia assumes Akule was dozing off as he requested the Milletian's presence.
Over the course, Millia follows Akule as he tries to make the Milletian a charm to ward them off from demons, much to her dismay as it delays her training. However, they do not tell her the purpose of the charm, as to not let her worry about the Milletian's condition. Along the way, she continuously chastises the Milletian, who despite rumored to be a great character has come so low to rely on the greatest shaman as well as their complaints on Akule being "weird."
At one point, Akule leaves the pair for unknown reasons. Millia claims that Akule wanted the Finest Marble the Milletian can find and sends them away but, unknown to Millia, puts them in danger of being possessed again. When they return, Akule states he told Millia to tell the Milletian not to leave; despite Millia's anger, she is unable to hide her depression, implying she lied about the Finest Marble.
Once they have acquired all the items, Akule takes the Milletian to the Dragon Crest Mark, while leaving Millia behind in Lappa Village, stating it is too dangerous for her. As Akule prepares the ritual, the Black Dragon appears and attacks; the shaman manages to hold them off for a limited time while giving the Milletian his eagle mask and orders them to protect Millia at all costs, stating she has great power that rivals the Irinid, though fortunately her enemies don't know about her yet. After the Milletian escapes to Millia and gives her the mask, series of explosions occur around the Dragon Crest Mark; Millia tries to save her teacher, but the Milletian blocks her.
Millia accuses the Milletian of abandoning Akule and refuses to let up until they agree to do whatever she wants. She mentions that Akule is not dead and there must be a clue around Karu Forest. Upon arriving, they receive a letter supposedly from Akule, which is actually a trap laid out by the Unknown Man who ambushes them with demons. The Milletian tries to ambush the Unknown Man, only to fail and transform into a demon once again, who subsequently defeats the Elf and Giant agents around the Mysterious Karu Forest Ruins, but is defeated by Millia with the power of Akule's mask.
Millia scolds the Milletian for wandering off and attempting to take on the Unknown Man alone, but shortly disregards it and they head into the mysterious dungeon. This, too, was also a trap laid out by the Black Dragon, and Millia and the Milletian fall into a void of darkness and become separated. Millia is then picked up by a familiar yet aged man.
The Milletian foresights Millia with the aged man, revealed to be Ruairi, befriending one another having escaped the Mysterious Karu Forest Ruins and are recollecting the materials for the charm. According to Shamala, this is the result of the Gold Dragon Adniel informing the Milletian of future events.
The Milletian learns from their dreams that Millia is just about to leave Ant Hell, but when Shamala tries to confront her, Millia angrily accuses Shamala of abandoning Akule and tries to fight her, but the Cessairs and their demon forces ambush them. After fending them off, Shamala tells Millia that the Cessairs were responsible for the disappearance of their teacher and tells Millia about a place where shamans train, possibly holding the whereabouts of their teacher, and even if they did not, they would at least train her, so long as she still holds Akule's Eagle Mask. Millia reluctantly and begrudgingly accepts the offer.
At The Holy Land of Shamans, Demote agrees to help Millia, but she must take the rite of initiation. At the Jungle Tree Crest Mark, Millia encounters Bhafel, but she hears Akule's voice telling her that it is just an illusion and that the rite of initiation consists of venting her anger. An illusion of Shamala berates Millia for her worthlessness, then Akule's voice also berates her and accuses her of letting him fall to the Black Dragon. After defeating all the illusions, Millia is left alone, in tears.
Heading back to Demote, he realizes Millia's true potential but notes that only Akule can control it. He then turns Millia over to Lelach, an insane shaman, who states Akule's method of teaching was incorrect from the very beginning and that the charm did not require a Black-Tailed Mongoose's White Tail, but their Big Beautiful Black Tail.
With all the materials needed for the real charm, the group heads back to the Dragon Crest Mark, where the Cessairs forces are waiting. Just then Dowra and Maike and their forces arrive to help fend off the enemies, resulting Millia completing the charm and the Milletian regaining their power. Millia then swears vengeance on Bhafel for supposedly killing her teacher and notes that she must prepare.
After the Milletian assists the Elves and Giants reclaim Shyllien Nature Reserve and Hillwen Mine, respectively, Millia has them fulfill her vengeance by defeating the Cessairs who are stationed at Zardine, and has them once again request aid from Dowra and Maike.
However, after they engage their enemies in Zardine, Black Mask instantly subdues the other Milletians, who transforms into demons and attack Millia.
Millia tries to help the Milletian, but a retreat is ordered and Dowra pulls her to Raspa Volcano. After Dowra declares a counterattack, Millia agrees, knowing that a retreat would put them at a disadvantage.
As the soldiers discuss about the events that transpired, Millia grows increasingly worried, believing that her deceased father was also transmogrified into a demon.
Later, Millia the other Milletians, now reverted to normal, if they are truly demons with the desire to conquer the world, but they deny such accusations and do not recall anything about the transmogrification. However, Millia still accuses them of being the demons that killed her father and then runs off. She declares her hatred on everyone, especially the demons that appear near her, and vents her rage on them, but soon grows tired. She considers using Lelach's magic before disappearing.
Millia mysteriously appears at the Connous Oasis. An injured Ruairi also mysteriously appears and Millia tends to him, though he mistakes her for Triona. As Ruairi recovers, he asks her what she considers a hero, but she states that heroes do not exist; her father was killed and no one came to help him and thus desires revenge, but considers Ruairi to be her hero for saving her back in the Mysterious Karu Forest Ruins. Ruairi sympathizes, having lost Rian and Triona long ago, and agrees to be the sword of her revenge.
Millia later sends a note to the Milletian, informing them that she is OK and requests for shaman aid.
As the shamans arrive and attempt to revitalize Ruairi, he suddenly awakes, gets up, dons his Black Dragon Knight armor, and accuses Millia for attempting to hand him over to the shamans. He then tries to attack one of the shamans, but Millia takes the hit. Black Mask, revealed to be Tarlach, appears and reveals he discovered the medium to a goddess' manifestation: Millia. Tarlach then notes that Ruairi cut down Millia, but Ruairi coldly states that he no longer cares for her because she "betrayed" him and that she will make a perfect offering.
In the drama commentary, Millia is asked if she would ever learn manners, but is confused by the question. According to the Milletian interviewer, she was considered to be too selfish, self-centered, rude, and/or overbearing. Millia responds she does not have some sort of role model, as during the Saga Akule was thought to be dead and was left with the animal Shamala. The Milletian scowls, as she takes too much of her aggression on them.
Akule and the Milletian conjure a spell to locate where the Cessair have her captive: Renes.
Ruairi and Tarlach tie Millia down to Lia Fail, the Milletian, Akule, and Shamala attempt to thwart their plans and they damage Lia Fail.
After Lia Fail is damaged, it becomes unstable. As the Milletian tries to damage it further, Tarlach tells them to stop but Akule urges them on. This delays them long enough for the Cessair and Cessair's Heart to attempt to defend it. Shortly afterward, a mysterious barrier is erected around Lia Fail and Millia, and Macha appears and attacks.
After much effort, the Milletian finally destroys Lia Fail, causing Macha to disappear and Millia to be freed. She is still unconscious since the event, and a helpless Akule muses that he should have done better for his niece.
