Overview
- Techniques are unique abilities that grant multiple passive and active effect.
- Players must equip the technique in order to activate its effect.
- Passive techniques will be effective as long as they are equipped.
- Active techniques must be equipped to be activated, and the effect lasts until the duration timer ends or the technique was unequipped.
- Up to 5 Techniques can be equipped at a time.
- Up to 5 premade sets of Techniques can be prepared.
- Players must equip the technique in order to activate its effect.
- Techniques are unlocked during Generation 22: Apocalypse. At first, one Technique is given, but more are gradually rewarded upon completing later quests.
- Techniques need certain requirements to be met in order to be used.
Ranking
- Techniques are ranked up by putting Briogh, Briogh Crystals, and AP into them.
- Up to 5000 of each type of Briogh may be held before it needs to be spent.
- 1500 Briogh of each type may be earned each real-life week, resetting at 12:00am PST100 on Samhain (Saturday).
- Red techniques use Briogh of Achievement, obtained by leveling up (+10).
- Green techniques use Briogh of Challenge, obtained by completing Dungeons or Shadow Missions (+50).
- The Crystal Defender minigame in Festia, various non-combat Shadow Missions for mainstream quests, and more count.
- Blue techniques use Briogh of Discipline, obtained by doing repeatable quests (+50).
- Daily Quests, turning in Fomor Scrolls, Glenis' cooking quests, and more count.
- Starting at level 4, techniques will require Briogh Crystals to advance to the next rank.
- Briogh Crystals can be obtained by clearing Tech Duinn missions.
- Fragmenting Advanced Briogh Crystals can produce normal Briogh Crystals.
- Starting at level 7, techniques will require Advanced Briogh Crystals to advance even further to the next rank.
- These Briogh Crystals have different names depending on the type of Briogh they correspond to:
- Achievement (Red): Virtuous Briogh Crystals of Achievement
- Challenge (Green): Noble Briogh Crystals of Challenge

- The bleed damage is a proportion of the max damage while equipped with the weapon that applies the bleed. Temporary buffs to max damage, such as with Battlefield Overture, will increase the bleed damage if they are active. Switching weapons, buffing after the bleed has activated, or having a buff expire will not change the damage of an already-in-progress bleed.

Redoubled Offensive
- For the Grim Reaper enemy, see Grim Reaper.
- Attacks have a chance to summon an image of a Grim Reaper that inflicts a second instance of damage. The damage dealt by Redoubled Offensive is based on the damage inflicted on the attack that activated it.
- Damage dealt is fixed; it cannot perform criticals, but it does bypass the opponent's defense, protection, and Passive Defenses.
- Activation chance is increased to 7.5% if the user's HP is below 10%.
- If Redoubled Offensive activates when an attack strikes multiple enemies, then all targeted are subjected to its damage.
- If the player has a Geas Devastation Set with 10 points in its Redoubled Offensive Activation Boost (Weak), the activation chance goes up to:
- Normal: 5.5%
- Under 10% HP: 8.25%
- If the player has an Ultimate Geas Devastation Set with 10 points in its Redoubled Offensive Activation Boost (Strong), the activation chance goes up to:

- Under 10% HP: 9%

Tenacious Taunt
- Redirects the aggro of up to a certain amount of monsters within a certain distance of the targeted party member.
- The number of enemies affected and the distance depend on the current Tenacious Taunt level.
- Click longer on the target to widen the radius of the redirect. If the target also has Taunt applied to them, Steadfast will also be applied.
- Steadfast grants the following bonuses during the duration of Tenacious Taunt:

- Unlocked during the G23 quest "Doubtful Threshold".
Requirements
- Place 20 or more housing item(s) in your Homestead.
- Collect 40 or more entries in the Taming Journal.
- Collect 40 or more entries in the Transformation Diary.
Fateweaver
- Applies Aspect of Might, Aspect of Fortification, Aspect of Swiftness, Aspect of Focus, or Aspect of Reversal on a targeted party member or monster within a certain distance.
- The number of Aspects that can be selected at once depends on Fateweaver's level, up to all 5 at once.
- Fateweaver's Aspects can be selected by using the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 keys. They each correspond with the Aspect that appears on the screen, in order.
- For example, pressing 1 while using Fateweaver will select Aspect of Might, while pressing 4 will select Aspect of Focus.
- Fateweaver lasts a total of 30 seconds.
- The player may use a Commander's Emblem fitted with Rune of Command: Fateweaver to increase its duration.
- Fateweaver apply combo effects if certain Aspects are selected in a specific order are used. All combo effects generate the phrase "specially combined" in the message the player receives and alters the effects by 2%.
Combos:
- Combo 42 - Increases effects from Aspect of Fortification
- Combo 351 - Increases effects from Aspect of Might, decreases effects from Aspect of Swiftness
- Combo 5231 - Increases effects from Aspect of Might, decreases effects from Aspect of Fortification and Aspect of Swiftness
- Combo 3152 - Increases effects from Aspect of Swiftness and Aspect of Fortification, decreases effects from Aspect of Might
- Combo 24153 - Increases all Aspect effects

Aspect of Might
On Party members:
- Increases the target's Minimum Damage, Maximum Damage, Magic Attack, and Critical by a percentage. Balance will be increased by a flat amount.
- The amount increased depends on the current level of Fateweaver.
- Aspect of Might does not stack with Exploit Weakness.
- When the player uses Aspect of Might on themselves, the last Technique applied to that player will overwrite the other one.
- For example, if the player uses Exploit Weakness first, then uses Fateweaver's Aspect of Might on themselves afterwards, the Exploit Weakness effect will disappear and be replaced by Aspect of Might.
- If another player uses Aspect of Might on a party member under the effects of Exploit Weakness, then Aspect of Might will not be applied.
- If the player using Fateweaver used additional Aspects to the player with Exploit Weakness, the other Fateweaver effects will still be applied.
- When the player uses Aspect of Might on themselves, the last Technique applied to that player will overwrite the other one.
On monsters:
- Decreases the target's Minimum Damage, Maximum Damage, Magic Attack, and Critical by a percentage. Balance will be decreased by a flat amount.

On Party members:

- Aspect of Might does not stack with Relentless Assault.

- This is similar to using Shadow Cloak or Hide.
- After a player becomes affected by Aspect of Focus, they won't be able to get affected by Aspect of Focus again for another 30 seconds.
- If the target has Tenacious Taunt active, then Aspect of Focus will have no effect on that target.
- If there were other Fateweaver Aspects selected, the rest will still apply to that target.
On monsters:
- Drops all aggro from that monster for 3 seconds.
- If the target was loading a skill, the skill will be cancelled, as the target will have dropped aggro.
- Each monster can only be affected by Aspect of Focus up to 3 times.
Aspect of Reversal
On Party members:
- Restores HP as a percentage of the damage dealt.
- Aspect of Reversal has a maximum amount of healing that can be recovered per hit.
- The maximum amount depends on the current level of Fateweaver.
- Aspect of Reversal has a maximum amount of healing that can be recovered per hit.
On monsters:
- Whenever the target is attacked, they will take additional damage as a percentage of the damage dealt.
- Aspect of Reversal has a maximum amount of extra damage that can be dealt per hit.
