  • Nexon has implemented a Password Update Campaign as part of their efforts to improve player account security. When you log into the Nexon site, they will prompt you to change your password. For more information on this new campaign, go here .
  • Mabinogi is back up and running. Maintenance ended at around 3:00PM (6:00PM EST time).
  • The game servers will not be affected and players who are in game during the maintenance will be able to continue playing. The maintenance will run from Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 1:15AM (4:15AM EST time)until an indefinite time. For more information, go here .

February 23rd 2010

  • Some new players will be unable to log on due to log-in difficulties. Newcomers may receive a constant "Logging in..." message when attempting to log in. For more information, go here .
  • The Web Launch is entirely optional. You can use the Mabinogi.exe launcher and you will be prompted for your login on the login screen.

February 22nd 2010

  • Nexon has released the Lime Sprite and the Yellow Sprite. For more information, go here .
  • There appears to be numerous errors due to the new web launcher update. Upon launching the game or trying to login, a user may receive any of the following messages:
    • "You are already logged in." -- There is no known solution for this yet
    • "Failed to Login." -- There is no known solution for this yet
    • "User does not exist." -- Go to the mabinogi.nexon.net website, log in, log out, then it will ask you to change your password. change it or leave it, now you will be able to log in.
    • "NGM is not currently installed."/"Please install the Nexon Game Manager" -- To fix this, download and run this

If you are experiencing any of the problems mentioned, please go to the Nexon Customer Support Website and report them.

  • Since the update, many players have been encountering problems including lag, client crashes/ freezes, and other unusual bugs/ errors that were not shown until after the update. A forum discussing the various problems can be found here.
  • Please post any solutions to the forum above on any way to solve the problems. It's unknown when Nexon will fix these problems.

  • Nexon has announced that 30-day premium services will be discontinued as of today. They are replaced with equivalent 1-day and 7-day service packages in preparation for an as-yet-unannounced premium service model that will come into force in February. The 1-day and 7-day packages will be available only until February. Should an individual buy (or have already bought) services which have an expiry date past February, their account will be reimbursed for the difference.   • Nexon has announced that Mabinogi will be having a scheduled Premium and Cash Shop Maintenance on Saturday, January 9th, 2010 at 12:00AM Pacific (3:00AM Eastern) to 2:00AM Pacific (5:00AM Eastern).
