Talk:Generation 13: Hamlet![link here! mini](/skins/common/images/mw/mini.png)
The difficulty of dungeon such as alby and ciar change depending on your total. But there is alot of confusion in mabi time kr and mabi gameabout kr so if you happen to know, can you upload it?Fallenone 00:36, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

Do we really need 'It is estimated that Generation 13: Hamlet will arrive at G13.' It seems that Generation 13 will obviously come out in Generation 13--Zaros 21:09, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- You fail to realize how stupid some people can be. I personally can see someone come here and ask "Hey, when does G13 come out?" as if they think we work for Nexon. So, the simplest solution will be "It comes out in G13". --ZephyreTALK 22:42, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Changing the estimated time box will change the category this belongs in. If you want to move everything to the category 'Upcoming Content at January 2011', that's fine, but actually make the category. Otherwise, it just looks unprofessional. Nandattebayo 02:03, 4 January 2011 (PST)
Prerequisites?
Do we need to finish G12 or some other generation or be a certain level to start G13? (edit - add sig) --~Shadoe 22:35, 19 January 2011 (PST)
- I don't think so, normaly new chapters don't require anything. --Naota3 17:31, 17 January 2011 (PST)
- You can start right away as long as your level match. (lvl 5 i think. not completely sure). --Fallenone 17:44, 17 January 2011 (PST)
Revolution
I just completed this quest for ADV level, and I had to hold out for 11 minutes and 30 seconds, not 10 minutes 30 seconds. Not sure if its the same for all. --Yuuka 06:03, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

So I did the int/adv version of the dungeon and didn't get it...is it no longer 100% chance, or is it one of those...beginner only things?
That's weird...I thought it was adjusted to Intermediate as max quest level...well just make a note of an changes while you're doing G13. There's quite a lot to be covered since the whole C3/C4 quest lines have been altered in numerous ways.
doing G13 now and I heard a little late that these scene scrolls are trapped in your inventory I just finished 4-1 and didn't keep that scroll my special inventory was full so I thought I was smart and that these would leave if they were in your regular inventory in the process of testing this I now have 2 Hamlet script books that are also trapped in my inventory is there any trick to making these go away or is G13 just hazardous to your inventory? and if it is I feel it might be worth noting on the page
first off this has happened to enough people that it seems deemed common and second I sent a ticket the day of and just got a response back today... which consisted of "yes we know about this we'll do something about it whenever" *closed by GM* and nothing actually happened
If a person hasn't started on the new quests, like say, an elf, but has started G13 before the update, will they be stuck at a standstill until G1~G3 have been completed?
I'm considering on making a video, but here's the problem...in order to fully show how Claudius is moving...I'm gonna have to resort to..."stuff." Would this break the video policy o-o?
Actually I found a use for it. It's gonna be for reference for an updated map I'm going to make soon.
At the end of the "Final Act" section we should clarify whether the completed Hamlet script serves any further purpose or whether it can be discarded. I don't know what the answer is.
I don't remember a Grim Reaper in Hamlet... anyone wanna tell me whats going on?
All the monsters you fight in G13 are actually monsters sent by Morrighan to capture Shakespeare. The Grim Reaper is one of the Guardians of Avon.
Not exactly... She still wants to kill us, but I believe she wants to see if she can use us a few more times, before she disposes of us.
... But as the "Guardian of Caliburn", don't we have the right to banish her or destroy her?
you only find that morrighan is behind this at the final match. she disappear within 5 sec. That ugly blind woman.
I understand Morrighan's plot now.
But still, since we are the Guardian of Caliburn, aka the Ruler of Erinn, we have the right to sentence Morrighan to her doom, do we not?
cuz we are too kind
because it is not that easy.
Cichol was only stabbed by jenna because neinheim or whatver she is called gave her to power to do so. Milletian? All gods hate them. Therefore, no power to pull out all power of brionac. morrighan? appear for 5 sec and disappear. no chance to stab. but i really hope i can slap her. she is such a.....****
You find out it's her way before the final match, Sheakspeare tells you, and she basically lets you know several times :/ Also, I think this is unrelated to past generations (Like 1-3 and 8-12 were unrelated) so she doesn't want to bury the player. To do so would spoil 4 Generations worth of story :/
It actually is related to the other generations. All (most) generations in a chapter are planned at the start of the chapter and are improvised and changed as they go on to please the audience. (Generation 9, 10, and 11 were planned for Chapter 3, Generation 11 was canceled, brought back, then they extended it to G12.) You likely don't know the plot of Generation 15 yet, which explains the ties between Chapter 4 and the other chapters.
After that post I actually did look at what G15 would be. It explains the Soul Stream, right? But why was Sheakspeare given an important roll in all this?
Because, he was the one who broke the Soul Stream, allowed Milletians to enter Morrighan's world, and Shakespeare ended up the first Milletian. Goddess Morrighan isn't even able to enter her own world anymore (@The Goddess Who Turned into Stone) and some aliens from a different dimension are coming and taking over her world, influencing her world's people (Tuatha de Danann), and bringing peace and equality with her greatest opponents, the Fomors. You would be mad too, wouldn't you? Chapter 4 is the infrastructure of the plot of Mabinogi.
That's a really odd plot, because Morrighan didn't mind Milletian's into her world and she said Nao wanted them there.
Isn't it better to just stay out of the whole fight? I mean, the NPCs are single aggro and they barely do any damage.
If too many NPCs die, you'll fail the mission. Small damages will build up over time. iirc, sentries continuously spawn, even after killing a wave, 2 waves may spawn at once due to spawn timer. as more spawn, the NPCs will eventually be outnumbered and all will eventually be wiped out.
There'd be too many to heal and eventually you'll run out of MP. you're better off fighting them for the exp and fending them off til the mission is over.
Did anybody else glitch on this mission? For me, I kept getting stuck outside the boundary of the stage and the game wouldn't let me back in, even when I used Evasion to get "over" the boundary line. If anybody else has this problem, personally I used Evasion to get on stage and then let my pets do all the fighting. AKAAkira 07:25, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
I've seen that happen to some of the civilians during the angry mob mission. But it hasn't happened to me yet.
As far as I see, Laetres doesn't even attack enemies anymore, he just walks around them in combat stance. I remember before a previous update he used to, and he did do a lot of damage. But is anyone else now noticing he doesn't do much?--YaoiBlossom 16:06, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
From what I can remember, I think Laertes did help out by fighting. Don't take my word for it though. My memory's bad, plus I wasn't paying particular attention, plus the mission's difficulty level was probably different. AKAAkira 07:20, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
I did this during 13's release, and Laertes was doing a 2k Smash on the Giant Snow Troll.
A few days ago, one of my friends says Laertes was being a dummy and he just walked around the GST, not attacking.
Me and my friend noticed that Hamlet Act 4, scene One, the Rp Quest "sea of tears" you the script says '1 to 6 can participate' I'm not sure if this is an error but I'm going to try it out shortly and will report findings. --Dragonkiri 01:47, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
SO my friend got a message stating "too many people in party" when we started, even though the script clearly states there can be more than one. Obviously a Nexon Fail. --Dragonkiri 01:52, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
It's becoming clear that G13 is integrated with the Human Uladh Beginner Quest line.
For newly created characters, after "Watching Deian's Sheep", you are allowed to start G13 ("The Tragic Bard" is given to you). You can't continue the beginner quests until Act 1 is completed (through Polonius's Request). Then, it halts progress on G13 (you don't get the next quest), and it allows one to continue the beginner quests through "Duncan's Praise". Similarly, when that quest is done, the beginner quest line is halted again, and "Ancient Avon Relic" is finally offered to you. I'm still playing through to make sure of everything, but they are clearly interlinked (and G13 Basic is easy enough for a brand new character to handle, too). As G13 starts, it's even based in either Avon and Tir Chonnail (more proof for the theory that it's the new beginner quest line).
Also, not sure where I should have put this, but has anyone else noticed that the dungeons for G13 and the beginner quests consistently have a certain piece of equipment in the end chest...?
- "The Tragic Bard" gives Fighter Light Leather Mail (according to your gender).
- "Avon" gives Soldier Waterdrop Cap.
- "Horatio's Dagger" gives Fox Tamer's Teeth-patterned Ankle Boots.
- "Horatio's Dagger" puts you through an even easier version of Ciar Beginner and forces you to get "the Golem Slayer" title. Is this another attempt at giving the player "equipment" to work with early on?
- The beginner quest "Malcolm's Ring" gives Cruces Robe.
- "The Bard's Flute" gives Fox Hunter's Terk's Open-Finger Gloves.
This is what I've found so far (after doing this chain of quests on three new characters and getting these items each time, there may be more later).
It seems that devCAT is trying to outfit beginners with some decent equipment?
I need your thoughts on verifying this information, and after that, where to put this information.
Thanks.
Seems that all Beginner quests are tied to G13 because my newly created giant and elf didn't get g13 quest yet with no beginner quest finished. Also the rewards may be slightly different. My giant that fits into the Alby beginner difficulty got a Fighter Pirta Leather Armor. Also the stuff from dungeons come from only the beginner versions of the dungeons.
I'm not exactly sure, I think my lv. 150 intermediate character got the items too.
All I've done so far is the Human Uladh. If no one else gets around to it, I'll edit the Giant and Elf ones as well, but later.
And yes, the items vary depending on race and gender-- they just give you stuff that you can actually wear.
Well Intermediate characters get the Beginner dungeons, go look at the Walkthrough (aka the non-talk page). So if you're Advanced or Hard mode, you won't get the items from dungeons.
A glitch perhaps? My advance difficulty characters got only enchant scrolls from Alby and Ciar, but did get the gloves from Rundal
The drops are defiantly deliberate from the beginner dungeons in the real world, but they only give the specials items to the first one to open the chest (not sure about this but it happened to me). I went in with a friend and then i opened a chest first and i got a set of leather armor, even though i have a total level or 200+, and he got normal dungeon drops. --Dragonkiri 01:50, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
I don't know about anyone else or if there's some sort of event going on, but I'm getting more exp for completing some of these quests than mentioned. I got 12k for completing act 4 scene 3 and 69k for act 4 scene 2. The amount is correct for turning in the quests, but not when you actually finish it.
Yes, the exp reward does depend on the difficulty. The quest reward, from what I can gather, is fixed. However, the exp given from the stage missions depends on your total level, like Shadow Mission exp.
Is this real that G13 will come in January 2011?? If yes, I'm gonna stop ranking my skill and save APs for Ice mastery...
