Sweet! Asked for, and received, a drawing of my characters Flarereaper and Flarespirit! Thank you very much, Tiane/Cquiles!

Despite my habit of calling out recent pictures that don't comply with the policy...I'm deuteranomal, and rather color-retarded to begin with (as in aside from the common ones, I've never learned the proper names of several different shades; you might be able to see how deuteranomaly might screw with my mind there).

I have fondness for certain puzzles. Especially a certain kind of internet riddle game. I tried to simulate it in a contest in Mabinogi World, except, I may have tried too much...

Current Thoughts

• View History isn't just a helpful tool...it's freaking addictive. Trying to think up of a proper style for Fomor Command Scrolls, I referenced Wikipedia...and then somehow got into looking at the history tabs for all of four hours.
• Dragon Nest Wiki is so empty nowadays...come on, Mabi players, you gotta help out your younger stepbrother too!
• ...It took me this long to realize...the majority of work I seem to be doing these days, tagging old pictures for deletion...will never count on my contributions list...*facepalm*
• I hate trying to measure infinitesimal distances from the line...

• Badoura Costume moves the belly button up a few centimetres. Am I the only one who found this funny?
• Why do people upload their personal pictures in .png? I mean, the wiki's pictures should be the highest quality possible, so regularly talking .png pictures isn't exactly a bad habit to get into...but for personal pictures that don't necessarily need the quality, it saves dataspace by taking pictures in .jpg.
• Trivia: In Dragon Nest, "mabinogi" is a specifically whitelisted word. What? Why?
• Somehow I find it funny that the update centered on music and bards removed the login screen's music.
• Oh dear...GuMaxDD is terribly incompatible with a 3DS screen. Not that I've been expecting it to be, but...

REMEMBER: Generally people don't like other people editing their user page. When in doubt, please refrain from doing so. This doesn't apply if they explicitly give permission like I'm about to.

ALSO: PLEASE don't make an account solely to do the following. (As extremely unlikely as it is, I refuse to imply that I condone this in any way.)

So with that being said...I'm kinda bored, and I don't really want to take pics of myself, and I want to know how often I come in contact with other editors without knowing it, so I'm leaving my userpage pictures to others.

Here's what I want you to do. If you ever happen to see any of my characters, hit PrcSc, crop it, upload it, and put it in this user page, under the Gallery, and add your name (wiki name, avatar name, don't care) onto the List of Successful Stalkers. (Or, um, whatever you want to call it. Change it if you want.) I'll take over responsibility for the image; but since users are only allowed ten images on the user page, I'll have to put any older images there might be up for deletion. (The name will remain in the List, though.)

Of course, that's assuming you find me. (I like to think I'm sneaky, though that probably doesn't apply to Mabi.)

Keeping Your Head in the Game...called the Real World

Well recently, my elf Flarespirit got her Falcon trans! So here I'd like to commemorate that with the names of my "graduating class" (the people I've cleared Maiz Gargoyle Dungeon with), which would be Flarespirit, Niavon, Harau, and Tanervan (if any of you guys happened to stumble on this page, please tell me if I spelled your names wrong... >.<). I'd also like to thank the people who helped, including my fellow guildies Ishinukami, Arachel, and Lur, as well as Sharphuman, Malogg, and paul and a couple of other people (Malogg and paul, I'm sorry I forgot your numbers...and "couple of other people", I'm sorry I didn't remember your names...). Special mention also goes to Tandren, a giant who I helped sketch the Karu boss and finished Maiz only a little bit before I did, as well as Shadwfox and maxim0 who were with me for our initial runs of Maiz but couldn't be with us for the last run.

So...part of the reason I put the list of names here was to commemorate the graduating class, and give thanks for the help given, seeing as it took a lot of effort and time to get through that stupid dungeon.

But the other reason is a little bit more serious...the same day we were focusing on and finally beat the Maiz dungeon, was the day that a near-hundred teens were shot or bombed to death in an act of terrorism in Norway. It...makes me reorient my priorities, the way while I was most focused on clearing a game, others were literally scared for their lives.

Probably, any other person would write here an elaborate speech detailing their thought processes, also containing how Mabinogi is only a stupid game compared to the situation that those poor teens in Norway was facing...unfortunately I'm not a good enough writer to detail out such thought processes, nor do I think of Mabinogi as a stupid game. I enjoy it enough to spend quite a bit of time playing it, and as selfish as this sounds I am nowhere near close enough to Norway to help significantly. But, I do know which one is real and which one is virtual.

So all I want to say, what I want to remind anyone who happens to be reading this, is to keep your head in reality, and know what's going on around you. The very least you - that's right, you - can do is to recognize that something like the shooting on July 22, 2011, can occur, simultaneously while we immerse ourselves in a virtual game. And, if you can, provide help to those in need...if people can be like Ishinukami, Arachel, Lur, Sharphuman, Malogg, paul, and all those other people who were nice enough to help me achieve my goal, if in Norway people can be as good and nice as these people are, at the very least I think it'll ease the suffering of those left behind.

My other fault is bad research habits, so I've no idea how to directly help this, but The Red Cross usually helps.

A List of Questions Slash Suggestions that I Probably Should Ask Slash Tell Nexon on the Next Q & A Session that I put here because I'm Going to Definitely Forget by the time It Comes Around

What the Subheading Says[show]

• Quite obviously, just general better programming - I'd suggest that, just like Vindictus, they dedicate a day or two each quarter a year just tackling known bugs, weak spots, errors, or other improvements the can do
• Perhaps a day of maintenance dedicated to smoothing out the whole story too - some things in here are still untranslated, and especially in G15, I think there were some music files missing
• Better, faster content - I'd suggest that each of the branches of Nexon work on their own plot once per a year or two, and then implement worldwide, and that way we can get new content two to four times annually
• Some concrete backstory - because honestly, Tara's characters are more than a little flat, and I don't mean it the 2D way
  • This can probably be also done via my third suggestion
• Rematches with previous bosses - right now, only Claimh Solas is readily available, albeit after a lengthly mission, while Glas Ghaibhleann is only reaccessable in a particular G9 Shadow Mission, Cromm Cruaich and Crumena has to be substituted for a Red Dragon, and I do believe Grim Reaper is overpowered in a particular, and also lengthly, Theatre Mission, so why not create memorial items, such as "Broken Mythril Bone", "Enchanted Gold Gauntlet", "Piece of Lia Fail", "Atrata's Fixed Bell", "Crystal of Noitor Arat", "Restored Music Box", "Brionac's Light and Shadow", "Model of Silver-Arm", "Goblet of Liquid Death", and "Bloodied Dagger of Love" for their respective Generation bosses, in their original forms?
  • Though of course, they can't be easy to get - otherwise people would spam them too much and get bored
  • The whole point of this is to have a good rematch with the bosses, especially if one didn't solo them the first time, as well as not having to face too much trouble right before fighting a boss again
• More factors in fights - Mabi's fighting system is good and complex and unique, but I'm not seeing environmental usage very much, so how 'bout: campfire not only lighting arrows on fire, but also shorten Firebolt's load time and increase damage, but decrease the time frozen and damage taken when using Ice Spear, Ice Mine and Frozen Blast; using Evasion on a beach auto-charging one Sand Burst with a Cylinder equipped, while lowering max distance for Assault Slash; Stomp, usually from a Golem, having bigger radius and higher damage in a city while its distance it can be away from the user is quartered; among others?
  • On a close note, actually making the weight of the person a variable in the game - like, powering up some skills or slowing movement/attack speed
• Project RM v.2! - but honestly, who wouldn't want to help others finish generations if occasionally one could get a free rebirth card and a free pet out of it?
  • Of course, the rewards don't have to be the same - it can be, say, Chirstmas theme outfits for the rebirth cards, or just joke outfit like a chicken suit; and/or old or new pets; and/or a number of Nao stones; and/or or dyes; and/or various weapons...but basically, this kinda reward is the perfect chance for people to really get into Mabinogi
• Baol Dungeon Normal - just to spite/smite those Guard Fomors who made it so difficult for me to sneak in
• The ability to summon other characters as one would summon pets - much more useful than *buying* Partners, and there's just...something wrong with the idea of buying parters
  • And besides which, then people would actually buy more character cards as opposed to making new accounts
• Rath Royal Castle's outside should be accessible via landing from flight - such a pain to have to go through the whole castle to talk to Sinead
• Collectible drawings - take me for example, I tried to look for Nao $10 Nexon Game Cards rather than the Maplestory ones (though I couldn't get one before they were phased out...); if Nexon could keep relacing the pictures on their cards with new ones, character or milieu-wise, they could potentially have people buying cards for the added reason of good limited-edition collectible artwork
  • On a very close topic to the above, they could return Nexon Cards as opposed to Karma Koins - it's good Nexon's willing to try charitable donations, but it's not necessary to have a card with a big ugly K in front of it, they could just have a smaller K in the corner if they wanted to advertise that fact or something
• A Master Dungeon Key Item Shop item - for those people who would rather avoid some monsters
  • For example, Peaca Basic's final room seem to contain Ghosts, those are the points people would rather skip over getting the key(s)
  • Single-use and day-limited, of course
• Red Wings of a Goddess creation ability - honestly, people won't like camping the Moon Gates in G14S4, this is the least Nexon could do
  • Lesser importance now, what with the Moon Gate updating to be like Mana Tunnels - but it'd still be cool.
• Advertisement servers - I personally won't mind watching advertisments if it meant having less people and less lag on a server
• Magic Shields should be more like Mana Shield, having a drain effect and also lasting as long as the player makes them - it makes more sense like that, instead of lasting longer than necessary and/or having a cooldown time that makes it useless
• Downgrading of Fighter skills - because at the moment, they're looking like a cheat sheet to victory in PvP, what with the practically infinite combos and all
• Set messages in hotkeys - for better communication during combat (or anything else on the fly)
• For the NPCs for G2's Ideals quest, they really should add in acceptable Elf- or Giant-only attributes - not only would it make it slightly easier, it just seems a little racist of them to prefer human qualities
  • Branching out from here, it's probably also possible to remove the human-only traits, and keep only the factors that can be obtained by all two or more races - hair color, age, armor, that sort of thing
  • On a separate branch, they probably should add in Elf and Giant NPCs to all the pre-G4 twons, since Elves and Giants have moved to Uladh now
• Professional Actors - same thing as the Royal Alchemist, basically, except with Theater Missions, and maybe even a boost to their Personas as well
  • And speaking of which, Royal Alchemists really should be included in all Shadow Missions -.-
• A Playing Instrument ability with no instruments equipped - in other words, letting voice be considered an instrument
• The ability to append "Harmony1" and "Harmony2" together - honestly, the lack of space can be frustrating, and only one line of harmony is really needed, anyways
• Oh yeah, and changing the login music back - I honestly liked An Old Story from Grandma better
