Basic Information

• Ogres are large powerful humanoid creatures of the Fomors. They often mention about eating meat in their dialogue, and at one point mentions cannibalism.
• Most ogres have level 1 Heavy Stander and level 2 Mana Deflector, and are thus resistant to melee, magic, and alchemy attacks.
  • However, most also possess level 1 Natural Shield, making them susceptible to archery attacks.
• Ogres possess Stomp, though it has a very small range compared to other monsters. They often tend to stop in front of a player and execute Stomp.
• Most ogres lack Counterattack and rarely use Smash.
• Defeating an Ogre rewards "the Ogre Slayer" title.

Notes & Advice Notes Watch out for splash damage. Currently, these are the strongest normal dungeon boss monsters (with the exception of Demi Lich). The Ogre Warrior in Mythril Mines seem to be weaker than the Ogre Warrior in Barri Normal. That type of Ogre Warrior will not count for any quest. The ones in Mythril Mine have been observed to have Counterattack. Advice Fire-Counter may be most useful. Having an Elf with a moderately ranked Mirage Missile can also help whittle away at it's health. Higher ranks of Mirage Missile are even better, since it causes a longer "infection period". If you have no lag, using an initial Smash, followed by alternating Counters and Windmill, is the quickest way to defeat them. After they are knocked back, you should be out of stomp range; if you're not, move away from the Ogre. It's also advisable to be quick about your judgement on what to do next. Any delay in skills will cause you to die. When they use Counter or Defense, use the pause to run back, drink some potions, then load Counterattack. They do not stay in defense or counter for long, so beware.

Notes & Advice Notes Has a special skill in which it winds up for a swing and releases a wave dealing fixed damage to everything in front of it that ignores defense and protection (100). However mana shield does decrease the damage. Getting hit with this swing will also cut your defense and protection stats in half. Advice While using its special skill and for roughly two seconds afterwards it gains Advanced Heavy Stander however, for those two seconds after the skill, it will be unable to move or attack. Be wary when fighting them in groups, as their special skill can "juggle" with multiple Snowfield Slayers.

Notes & Advice Notes This variant of the Ogre Executioner is extremely large - easily three or four times its size. As such, it has a very large hitbox, which, on top of its massive melee damage, makes getting near him all but impossible. Recommended to kill using Magnum Shot from maximum range, on a mount if possible, then retreating behind the hedges. Run around the arena outside the hedges, and repeat from the other side. An alternative method is to hit and run with Firebolt, as in the above strategy. Advice None
