Description

Kristell and her apprentice, Maydi, need your help! A strange energy is spreading throughout the land and they need you to investigate. Check out all the details here!

Part 1 - Investigate the Strange Energy

• Kristell and her apprentice, Maydi, are asking for help in investigating the strange energy that has spread throughout the Uladh continent.
  Help the two Lymilark priests at the Dunbarton Church and receive rewards for completing their requests.
• Strange energy spreads throughout the Uladh continent, causing animals to go mad with illness. Kristell and her apprentice, Maydi, are asking for help in investigating the strange energy. While investigating, you discover a strange fog and meet a mysterious person with blank eyes.
  Who is this strange person and what is this energy? Help Kristell and Maydi by solving the mystery and receive new rewards for completing their requests.

• These quests comprise the main story line of Moonlight Dreams.

[Guide] Kristell's Calling

• This quest is a guide quest. It is given once to guide the player towards the event area.
• This is a main character selection quest. It is given to all characters on the account.
  • The quest will require the player to select a main character to participate in this event. Completion of this quest will remove the quest and any related items from all other characters on the account.

How to Get Quest	Complete the previous quest.
Briefing	Help Kristell investigate the strange phenomena that's been occurring across Uladh.
Objectives	Talk to Kristell in front of the Dunbarton Church (Reward: Empty Bottle) Take the mad cow milk gathered around Dunbarton to Kristell. Talk to Deian at Tir Chonaill Pasture Take the wool gathered from the mad sheep and talk to Deian.

• Kristell will give you an Empty Bottle in order to collect Mad Cow Milk from the Mad Cows. The process is the same as for regular cows.
• The process for collecting Mad Sheep Wool from the Mad Sheep is the same as for regular sheep.

How to Get Quest	Complete the previous quest.

Objectives	Talk to Kristell in front of the Dunbarton Church (Reward: Yellow Event Wings (Strange Wardrobe)) Investigate the Moonlight Room to obtain special items, then talk to Kristell (Enter Pino Mission)

• Talk to Pino in the Moonlight Room to enter the Shadow Mission, Find the Torn-Out Pages.

Shadow Mission: Find the Torn-Out Pages

• Activate or deactivate the colored orbs pedestals, then talk to Pino to spawn rats.
  • Having all 3 pedestals active will spawn Dark Rats.
  • Having the Magenta and Cyan pedestals active will spawn Blue Enchanted Rats.
  • Having the Magenta and Yellow pedestals active will spawn Red Enchanted Rats.
  • Having the Cyan and Yellow pedestals active will spawn Green Enchanted Rats.
  • Having only the Cyan pedestal active will not spawn any rats.
  • Having only the Yellow pedestal active will not spawn any rats.
  • Having only the Magenta pedestal active will not spawn any rats.
• Defeat the rats in the Offering Circle. Rats spawn in waves of two and 3 are required inside the circle to complete the offering.
  • Completing the Dark Rats has a chance to award a Gnawed Pages.
  • Completing the Blue Enchanted Rats has a chance to award a Blue Magic Potion.
  • Completing the Red Enchanted Rats has a chance to award a Red Magic Potion.
  • Completing the Green Enchanted Rats has a chance to award a Green Magic Potion.
  • After offering the rats, the required item will be added directly to your inventory.
    • There is a small chance that you may not get the required item, so it may take multiple tries.
• Interact with the Mage's Cauldron to mix the potions. After successfully mixing, the mission will complete and you will receive Restored Pages.
  • Type WASD repeatedly in that order to fill a gauge. Failing to fill the gauge within 10 seconds will cause the mission to fail.
• Deliver the Restored Pages to Kristell to complete the Kristell's Request (Daily) quest.
• This mission may be completed three times per day.
  • Players may only be in possession of 1 Restored Pages at a time.

• This quest is a guide quest. It is given once to guide the player towards the event area.

How to Get Quest	Complete the story line quest: Spread of the Strange.
Briefing	There's a priestess busying herself in front of the Dunbarton Church... Maybe she could use some more help?

• Receive Maydi's Commission letters for every hour logged in. Use it to select and complete a task for the reward.

Briefing	Clear the Shadow Mission for Today's Mission 1 time, drive out the dark forces, then talk to Maydi. (Clear Daily Shadow Mission 1 time regardless of whether it was in Tara/Taillteann)

Briefing	Help Gillach and Brielle take their first steps out into the world. You can get Dreamy Sugar from the Old Puppet Shop mission, and Faded Book Page 3 from the Junk Storage mission.

Shadow Mission: Find Dreamy Sugar

Guide Image

Find the marionette that looks different from the others. You will receive Dreamy Sugar and a daily reward for each completion

• Enters a shadow mission in the Old Puppet Shop room.
  • The mission has a 30:00 minute time limit.
• Talk to Chio inside for instructions.
• The mission objective is to find the Dreamy Sugar that Chio has hidden in one of the marionettes.
  • Chio hid it somewhere where it could find it later...in a slightly different looking marionette...
• There are 36 marionettes in the mission arranged in a 6 x 6 grid.
• Only ONE of the marionettes is different to the rest. It will exhibit only ONE difference:
  • ...the marionette without mushrooms on its wrist
  • ...the marionette with the connected knee
  • ...the marionette with less moss on its cheek
• Left-click a marionette to check if it is the right-one.
  • Checking wrong marionettes 6 times fails the mission.
  • Checking a marionette adjacent to the correct marionette will give an indication that the correct marionette is nearby.
  • Green circles on the floor increase the player's movement speed.
  • Red circles on the floor decrease the player's movement speed.
• Checking the correct marionette awards Dreamy Sugar and completes the mission.
  • Mission completion also awards 1 Onyx or 1 Fine Onyx.
• Deliver the Dreamy Sugar to Brielle to complete the Worldly Courage (Daily) quest.
• This mission may be completed three times per day.
  • Players may only be in possession of 1 Dreamy Sugar at a time.

Shadow Mission: Records Hidden Deep in Storage

Dodge the ghosts and collect Faded Book Pages to reach the end of the hallway

• Enters a shadow mission in the Junk Storage room.
  • The mission has a 30:00 minute time limit.
  • All players are limited to base human movement speed for this mission.
• Talk to Chio inside the room to begin the mission, with the "Search Storage" conversation option.
• Chio will remove the first barrier.
• Run past the ghost spirits and the Broken Guard Bunny Dolls to reach the first bookcase on the hallway's left wall.
  • Running into a ghost spirit will return the player to the start of the current hallway section.
  • The Broken Guard Bunny Dolls will attack the player attempting to knock back. However there is not other penalty to being struck.
  • Green circles on the floor increase the player's movement speed.
  • Red circles on the floor decrease the player's movement speed.
• Left-click on the first bookcase to obtain Faded Book Page 1.
  • Faded Book Page 1 is not awarded if performing this mission outside of the story line.
• Accessing the first bookcase will remove the second barrier.
• Run down the hallway to access the second bookcase on the right-side wall and obtain Faded Book Page 2.
  • Faded Book Page 2 is not awarded if performing this mission outside of the story line.
• Accessing the second bookcase will remove the third barrier.
• Run down the hallway to access the third bookcase on the end-side wall and obtain Faded Book Page 3.
• Obtaining Faded Book Page 3 completes the mission.
  • Mission completion also awards 1 Onyx or 1 Fine Onyx.
• Deliver the Faded Book Page 3 to Brielle to complete the Worldly Courage (Daily) quest.
• This mission may be completed three times per day.
  • Players may only be in possession of 1 Faded Book Page 3 at a time.

Additional Information	Complete the Halloween Event Part 1, 2 Daily Quests 7 times, and all scenario quests. Tokens do not disappear after quests are completed and can be exchanged for Onyx from Maydi.

• The Part 1 Daily quest: "Kristell's Request (Daily)" is offered during both Parts 1 and 2 of the event and can be completed a total of 28 times.
• The Part 2 Daily quest: "Worldly Courage (Daily)" is only offered during Part 2 of the event and can be completed a total of 14 times.
• Completing the meta quest does not consume any tokens. The quest requirement is only to collect them.
• At any time, Maydi will exchange any Sleuther Tokens or Problem Solver Tokens in exchange for Onyx at a 1:1 ratio.
  • It is unadvised to exchange any tokens prior to completing the meta quest.

• Players may offer Divine Holy Water to the Juju Dolls, who will respond by giving reward items.
• The dolls have the option to exchange either 1 or 5 Divine Holy Water at once, giving 1 or 5 times the reward items respectively.
• Each doll gives different reward items.
