This article is a stub. If possible, you can help by expanding it.

These quests are automatically given to all newly created characters. Until completing these quests, you will be restricted from accessing certain features of Mabinogi, such as Parties, the Auction House, the Traveler's Guide, and the Storyline.

Introduction to Erinn

Here you'll learn the basics of Mabinogi such as the controls, general information, and basic combat info.
You can skip the tutorial by pressing the "SKIP" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
It is not recommended to skip the tutorial if this is your first time playing Mabinogi. You will miss out on vital information necessary to progressing through the game.

Lorna and Pan Starting Area

First Steps in Erinn

How to Get Quest	Start a new character.
Briefing	Welcome to Erinn! I help new Milletians get used to life here. Come talk to me so we can go over the Basics, all right? - Lorna
Objectives	Let's Check Quest Information Let's Check Character Information Let's Check the Mini-Map Let's Check the Inventory
Rewards	200 Experience Points 1 Wooden Stick 5 HP 10 Potion
Additional Information	You will need to end dialogue each time with Lorna and then talk to her again to progress to the next step in the quest. This quest and the next will be skipped if you pressed SKIP.

Item Equipping and Usage

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "First Steps in Erinn".
Briefing	You'll have a great many items to manage, sooner or later. Talk to me and learn about Item Equipping and Usage. I'm next to Lorna. - Pan
Objectives	A Conversation With Pan Equip the Wooden Stick A Conversation with Pan Use an HP 10 Potion A Conversation with Lorna
Rewards	200 Experience Points 5 Ability Point [Skill] Defense
Additional Information	You will need to talk to Lorna before talking to Pan for the first part. After completing the quest, you will receive Lorna's Stadium Horn and be automatically moved to Tin for the next part of the tutorial. This quest will be skipped if you pressed SKIP. You will still receive Lorna's Stadium Horn and the Defense Skill if you skip.

Battle in Erinn

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "Item Equipping and Usage" or pressing SKIP.
Briefing	Nao sent you, I see. My name is Tin. I have some things to add to Lorna and Pan's lesson plan. ...Know anything about fighting? - Tin
Objectives	Conversation With Tin Hunt 5 Brown Raccoon Conversation With Tin Finished Practice Defense Once Conversation With Tin
Rewards	300 Experience Points 500 Gold [Skill] Smash [Skill] Counterattack [Skill] Windmill
Additional Information	You do not need to wait for an attack for Practice Defense, you can cancel the skill and attack normally.

Basics of Battle

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "Battle In Erinn".
Briefing	Not too bad. Now that we've warmed up, you should have the skills Smash, Counterattack, and Windmill. Now we'll get them down. - Tin
Objectives	Conversation With Tin Finished Practice Smash Once Conversation With Tin Finished Practice Counter Once Conversation With Tin Finished Practice Windmill Once Conversation With Tin
Rewards	400 Experience Points 500 Gold
Additional Information	When using the Wooden Stick try to single out one target for each objective. Tin will give you a Big Gold Pouch after completing this quest.

To The Outside World

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "Basics of Battle".
Briefing	I wasn't sure you'd last. Good work! That should be enough for now. Ready to leave? - Tin
Objectives	Conversation With Tin
Rewards	500 Experience Points 1000 Gold 10 Ability Point Gold Pouch x 1
Additional Information	After talking to Tin, you will be teleported to your race's starting village. You will learn the Magic Mastery and Assault Slash skills after completing this quest.

Nao's Letter of Introduction (for Humans)

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "To The Outside World" or skipping the tutorial.
Briefing	Dear Chief Duncan, I'm sending you a newcomer from another world. Please do what you can to help them adjust to life in Erinn. Thank you, and I hope I will be able to visit you soon. - Nao Pryderi -
Objectives	Deliver the letter of introduction to Duncan in Tir Chonaill.
Rewards	500 Experience Points

These are the three Chiefs players will meet: Duncan, Castanea, and Krug.
Elves will meet Castanea, and Giants will meet Krug.

Nao's Letter of Introduction (for Elves)

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "To The Outside World" or skipping the tutorial.
Briefing	Dear Castanea, I hear you've helped the Elves adjust to life in Connous. The one who carries this letter is from another world. Please help this soul learn about life in the desert. - Nao Pryderi -
Objectives	Deliver the letter of introduction to Castanea in Connous.
Rewards	500 Experience Points
Additional Information	You will obtain the "a Descendant of the Elves" title.

Nao's Letter of Introduction (for Giants)

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "To The Outside World" or skipping the tutorial.
Briefing	Dear Krug, I hear you've helped the Giants adjust to life in Physis. The one who carries this letter is from another world. Please help this soul learn about life in the snowfields. - Nao Pryderi -
Objectives	Deliver the letter of introduction to Krug in Vales.
Rewards	500 Experience Points
Additional Information	You will obtain the "a Descendant of the Giants" title.

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "Nao's Letter of Introduction".
Briefing	There is a reason why you were brought here in these times. Once more, I am Duncan, the chief of Tir Chonaill.
Objectives	Learn about Actions from Duncan.

Fomor Threat (for Elves)

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "Nao's Letter of Introduction".

Objectives	Learn about Actions from Castanea. Speak with Duncan in Tir Chonaill on the Continent of Uladh.
Rewards	300 Experience Points 5 Ability Point

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "Nao's Letter of Introduction".
Briefing	Good to meet you. In my view, you're here to accomplish something. I have something important to tell you. -Krug
Objectives	Learn about Actions from Krug Speak with Duncan in Tir Chonaill on the continent of Uladh
Rewards	300 Experience Points 5 Ability Point Stomp
Additional Information	You will need to use Continent warp in your actions menu (default hotkey N) to progress this quest after talking to Krug.

Life in Erinn

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "Fomor Threat".
Briefing	Violence is not the only path of growth. Come by when you have time, and I'll teach you about Life Skills. - Endelyon
Objectives	Speak with Duncan in Tir Chonaill. Speak with Endelyon in Tir Chonaill. Gather eggs from a hen. Deliver 1 egg to Endelyon.
Rewards	1000 Experience Points 1000 Gold 5 Ability Point Holy Water of Lymilark x 5
Additional Information	Click on a Hen with nothing equipped to gather an egg, then pick it up by clicking on it. You can hold down the ALT key to highlight the chicken or the egg's names, which may be easier to click on.

Rebirth And Talent

How to Get Quest	Obtained after completing "Life In Erinn"
Briefing	You've grown a lot in a short time, it seems. Oh, Tin sent for you, to go over Rebirth and Talent...Come see me, first. - Duncan
Objectives	Speak with Duncan in Tir Chonaill Use Tin's Magic Stone in your inventory and try out a Talent Speak with Duncan in Tir Chonaill Speak with Duncan in Tir Chonaill after Rebirth
Rewards	5000 Experience Points
Additional Information	After using Tin's Magic Stone, you will be warped back to Tin's field from before. Near the bottom of the hill behind Tin are Talent Guides. You may select Free Play Mode to test out the Talent by yourself or Task Mode to be prompted as to which skills to use. You can just select Free Play Mode and leave after without attacking anything. Speaking with Duncan the second time will teleport you to Nao for a Rebirth tutorial.

[Brave Boost] Memory Book Tutorial

After completing the Beginner Tutorial Quest you will obtain the quest [[Brave Boost] A Blue Fragrance on the Wind].

These quests introduce more mechanics vital to your enjoyment of Mabinogi, as well as more free pets, permanent character boosts, and skill training assistance.
The story of Memory Book flows linearly into the Mainstream Storyline quests, essentially making it Generation 0.
