Notes & Advice Notes Immediately self-destructs when its HP is reduced to 0 or less, with no animation or delay. The explosion radius is about the same as the range of a magic bolt, causing severe damage to anyone and anything caught in the blast. Indistinguishable in appearance from the weaker variety. Players who meet Skeleton Squad (Strong Explosion) at close-range with a dungeon door in between can still be damaged by Self-Destruct, so don't assume dungeon doors will always shield you. This monster explodes, resulting in 150 damage Advice Use of Ice Spear is highly recommended. It's best to finish them off with a ranged attack to be safe from any explosions.
