Oh! You must be... I'm sorry! I didn't even introduce myself! I'm Pihne, general of the Eiler Unit. Sorry if I seem a little nervous. This is my first time being close to you and everything. |

Description
Pihne's light-green eyes rest on you, and she smiles kindly. Long platinum-gold hair extends smoothly to her back, complementing her bright demeanor.
Pihne is the captain of the Eiler Unit of the Alban Knights. According to Altam, she is said to possess the kindest heart of all the Alban Knights due to her sweet and friendly nature.
History
She is close friends with Caswyn, having once shared the same unit with him.
As a young child, Pihne was terribly sick and suffered from miserable pain. Her death seemed certain. There was nothing her parents could do but pray for a miracle to rid her of her illness.
One day, Pihne's parents take her to the lighthouse of their hometown in Port Cobh. As she enjoys the view from the top of the lighthouse, her parents lament the little time she has left to live. A stranger then approaches Pihne to ask her if she has heard of the eternal mother, Ladeca, who he claims "puts Aton Cimeni to shame." He continues to tell Pihne that she can save herself from her pain by offering her loved ones as a sacrifice. At first, Pihne disregards the offer, but the stranger informs her that her loved ones will be taken to a better place. Subsequently, he tells her to repeat the sentence, "Tu furtum eam cumulabitur animalis et exclamatio eius." Pihne initially hesitates, saying that she doesn't feel right, however she repeats the sentence after being reassured by the stranger. After chanting, she hears a strange voice in her head. The stranger announces that she has been freed from her pain and further points out that her parents spirits' departed, leaving only the bodies that once housed their souls. Pihne rushes down from the the top of the lighthouse to confirm this. She sobs, hearing the voices in her head once more.
After having received Aton Cimeni's blessing, Pihne becomes a member of the Alban Knights. Two of her companions come to the Cave of Remorse with her to congratulate her, to which she thanks them before entering the cave. Pihne eventually returns, crying due to her childhood memories coming back to haunt her. She also laments that her Crusader Skill came out "all screwed up." She then vows to try harder than anyone else to convince the others that nothing is wrong with her.
At some point, Pihne and Caswyn become stuck with the duty of guarding the Avalon Gate. Pihne questions why their presence is necessary, then claims that she wishes that she were a knight already. She tells Caswyn that she thinks he would be a great general and that he should set becoming one to be his goal. However, Caswyn remarks that it would be a lot of work. Pihne agrees, and the two then fall silent before they both complain about the lack of communication from each other.
Mainstream Story
Pihne arrives at the Emain Macha Assembly Area to join the rest of the captains, Altam, and the Milletian. Suddenly, an ambush of Reanimated Corpses appears and attempts to strike Altam, however Pihne uses Lightning Rod before any damage is done. The knights and the Milletian then find themselves surrounded by more corpses, leaving the group no choice but to fend them off.
After the Reanimated Corpses are cleared, the knights notice that Caswyn, the leader of the Heruin unit, still has yet to arrive. Pihne suggests waiting for him, but the knights realize that he is more than late. Pihne then excuses herself from the group as she begins to hear strange voices in her head. Distraught and settled next to a nearby tree, she questions why she can still hear the voices. To her surprise, she finds that the Milletian had followed her. She tells the Milletian not to tell the other knights about the episode they witnessed from her.
Returning to the other members of the Alban Knights, Pihne assumes her usual demeanor. Talvish asks her if she might know why Caswyn is taking his time, to which Pihne points out that she and Caswyn were once members of the same unit. In that time, Caswyn had the tendency of going to a hill west of Taillteann by himself whenever he had something important to think about. It is then suggested that the knights and the Milletian head to the aforementioned location to find him.
The group heads to the hill west of Taillteann, but find that Caswyn is still not present. The group then splits up to cover different directions, with Pihne heading west.
Once Caswyn is found by the Milletian, Pihne scolds him when Avelin's words fail to reach him. Pihne remarks that Caswyn's actions were rude, selfish, and irresponsible before he apologizes. Afterwards, Talvish carries over the conversation to address the pressing matter at hand now that the four generals have reunited: tracking and defeating the Prophets. In addition to this, he asks Caswyn and Pihne for their thoughts on Altam being included in the mission. Pihne says that Altam should be free to make his own decisions despite being young. The group is then given the name "Celestial Six" by Altam before heading to Cor Village.
In Cor Village, Pihne is able to gather intel and deduce that the Apostles will likely return by nightfall. Talvish suggests they all remain in the area until then. Afterwards, Caswyn points out that something is strange without specifying what, causing Avelin to question why he is pessimistic all the time. Pihne reassures Avelin that Caswyn is reliable despite his cold nature. The Celestial Six then wait until midnight for the possible attack.
At midnight, Altam and Talvish split from the group to search for any Prophets in the area. Pihne, Avelin, Caswyn, and the Milletian are left to engage the Apostle, however their attacks are not effective against it. Caswyn points out that the damage from their attacks is being negated by the Apostle, however the knights' Divine Light is not affected. He further suggests that they all combine their Divine Light with their attacks in order to make progress. Pihne agrees with his suggestion, however Caswyn decides to handle the Apostle himself. With the Apostle's defeat, Altam and Talvish return and the group takes a break.
Once the Milletian discovers the location where the Arthuan Shard is sealed through the use of the Someone's Necklace, the Celestial Six head to Lunae Valley. There, Pihne points out that the altar is not present, further questioning whether something must be done in order for it to appear. Caswyn suggests to Avelin to use up all of her Divine Light. Concern is expressed for Avelin by some of the knights. However, Avelin agrees and carries out the task, causing the altar to reveal itself. The Prophets also show up with the intent of stealing the Arthuan Shard. A brief fight occurs between the knights and the Reanimated corpses with Zebach before the Prophets escape.
Having searched all around the altar, Pihne is unable to find the Arthuan Shard, leaving her to guess that it has fallen into the Prophets' hands. The Celestial Six then discuss the strong probability of the Prophets intent to pass beyond the Avalon Gate and find the Elder's body. With this information, they decide on a plan to reclaim the Arthuan Shard from the Prophets and find the remaining three shards. The group subsequently splits to allow the Milletian, Avelin, and Caswyn to rest at the Hot Springs, while Pihne, Altam, and Talvish hunt for the Prophets.
After an unsuccessful search, Pihne, Altam, and Talvish head to the Hot Springs to report their lack of progress to the now rested camp group. Pihne and Caswyn then step aside and chat amongst themselves, to which Pihne expresses how much the Heruin Unit general has not changed. As she points out that Caswyn could use a decent set of armor, the voices in her head emerge again and force her to retreat to another area of the Hot Springs region. There, she reveals to the Milletian that she has been hearing the voices since the initial fight with the Reanimated Corpses. She proceeds to tell the Milletian to not tell anyone else, especially Caswyn, about her episodes.
The knights move out to seek the Heruin Shard at Port Ceann next. The group notices that Caswyn is missing, allowing Pihne to explain that he wanted to arrive prior to everyone else. When they move deeper into the beach, the knights find that Caswyn is not there. Avelin criticizes Caswyn, but Talvish suggests to secure the perimeter of the area while they await his return. Pihne, on the other hand, reassures Avelin by telling her that she believes that Caswyn is not too far from the area. Caswyn eventually appears along with the altar. He secures the Heruin Shard and indicates that he modified the altar's security device into a trap, which successfully catches Brilluen and Pennar.
Unfortunately for the knights, Marcan appears with a more powerful version of Zebach. The Celestial Six and the Milletian are left to defeat it while the Prophets escape. At the conclusion of the battle, Pihne suggests that the new Apostles brought by the Prophets could be a sign of the Prophets' desperation to obtain the shards. Talvish then inquires about Caswyn's condition. When Caswyn states that he is fine and Talvish questions his sincerity, Pihne indicates that Caswyn "never feels how he says he feels." She tells Caswyn that he can be honest with everyone. Avelin berates Caswyn for his actions, however, prompting Pihne to have a private talk with Avelin.
Eventually, the knights settle. Pihne asks Caswyn if he noticed anything peculiar at Heruin's Altar. He confirms her thoughts, saying that he saw an obscured person who did not speak to him but helped him lure the Prophets into the trap. Pihne, surprised, questions whether the entity was lonely, only to have her input dismissed by Avelin. The knights then decide to give more thought to the matter.
Soon, Altam questions the possibility of a traitor existing amongst the group. Pihne reassures him by stating that none of them would dare to work alongside the Prophets due to the knights' devotion to Aton Cimeni. Contrarily, Caswyn suggests to investigate Altam's theory anyway. Pihne then states that she feels uncertain, further suggesting that she thinks it may be a bad idea to chase the Prophets if a traitor does exist amongst the group. This causes Talvish to urge the Celestial Six to think rationally. When the Milletian states that they are the traitor, the knights are thrown into disarray. However, Talvish indicates that this cannot be so; the Alban Knights would have known since there is constant surveillance on the Milletian.
The Celestial Six have a moment of rest. When Talvish asks the Milletian to cook for the knights, Pihne agrees with his idea, stating that it would be wonderful for all of them to have meal together. She then asks Caswyn what his thoughts on the matter are. Caswyn is initially indifferent, but agrees to the idea after being convinced by Pihne. The knights split into teams of two to gather ingredients. Altam and Pihne work together to dig up shellfish along the shore. Once all the ingredients are gathered, the group enjoy a meal cooked by the Milletian.
Following the meal, Pihne tells the Milletian that she thinks Caswyn has started to warm up to them based on their repeated interactions. Caswyn denies her claim and the two go back and forth. Caswyn then states that he feels Pihne is hiding something. Pihne, taken aback, reassures him that she is fine. However, she begins to hear the voices in her head again, prompting her to hide herself from her comrades. She then tells the Milletian that she feels helpless and as if her soul is being ripped apart once they find her. The Milletian asks her what they can do to help, but Pihne asserts that she must return to the other knights or they will grow suspicious of her.
When Pihne and the Milletian return, Altam suggests hiding the Heruin Shard in a place safe from the Prophets. However, they discover that the Prophets were already in the area, watching the group from the cliff. The Prophets disappear when the knights raise their guard. The knights question this, but soon find themselves caught in a trap set by the Prophets. The Black Wizard then appears with the Heruin Shard in his possession, taunting the group before he leaves.
The Celestial Six head for Blago Prairie to locate the Eiler Shard that was seen in the memory. Upon arriving at the location, Pihne begins to feel unwell, but tells the others that she is fine. When Talvish asks her if she feels well enough to use her Divine Light to reveal the altar, she does not respond. Caswyn asks if there is another way to open the altar besides using Divine Light. However, Pihne insists that she can do it. She then reveals the altar using her Divine Light, only to become exhausted afterwards. She suggests that she might need to rest, prompting Avelin to question her well-being. Pihne once again insists that she will be fine. On the other hand, the knights notice that the chest where the Eiler Shard would be has already been tampered with. Much to the knights' surprise, Zebach appears. The group realizes it has no choice but to fight it.
After the fight, Talvish revisits the idea of a traitor existing amongst them, further stating that they Prophets may have the Elved Shard already. Suddenly, Pihne inquires about the Milletian's immortality, much to the confusion of the other knights. She becomes upset upon hearing the Milletian's response, and then disappears once Avelin has shown consideration for her well-being.
Eventually, the Milletian catches Pihne and Caswyn south of Pera Volcano. There, Pihne stands close to the ledge of the volcano while Caswyn keeps a careful distance from her. When the Milletian and Caswyn venture closer to Pihne, she reveals that she all she ever wanted was to fit in and be normal, yet despite her efforts, she can still hear the voices in her head. She then reveals that she is turning into an Apostle. Caswyn attempts to reason with her, but to no avail. Pihne states that she always envied Milletians due to their immortality. She then says that by killing herself, she can prevent herself from becoming an Apostle. However, she is afraid to do so, calling herself a coward and claiming that she had been pretending to be a holy knight. After another attempt by Caswyn to reason with her, Pihne states that she has become completely engulfed by the voices in her head. Before she is able to reveal something she has always wanted to say to Caswyn, she transforms into an Apostle.
Caswyn, set on saving Pihne, asks the Milletian to distract Pihne while he sets up the Emblems of the Alban Knights. However, Pihne is not returned to her typical state after being led to the Arthuan, Eiler, and Heruin Emblems. Suddenly, Brilluen appears, mocking Caswyn. She then thanks him for his work and leaves with the Apostle Pihne.
Soon, the Milletian uses Pihne's Gem and together with Caswyn, they prepare a cleansing ritual for Pihne. Through this, Pihne reveals her inner thoughts: her lamentations over her parents' deaths, the fact that she joined the Alban Knights hoping to receive forgiveness from Aton Cimeni, and how Caswyn stood out to her as an individual. As she reveals these thoughts, the Milletian and Caswyn visit memories from Pihne's past. Pihne then reveals that despite feeling comfortable around Caswyn, that comfort urged her to keep secrets from him. She feared that Caswyn would judge her for her past and abandon her if he discovered the truth about her. Caswyn then says that the Apostle has fused with Pihne, leading he and the Milletian to defeat it so that Pihne can return to normal.
In the Forest of Temptation, Pihne suddenly interrupts Caswyn when he struggles to express his gratitude to the Milletian. Pihne then tells the Milletian that despite her not remembering most of the events that occurred at Pera Volcano, she knows that they had saved her. When Pihne begins to speak to Caswyn about the events he witnessed during the cleansing ritual, he tells her that it does not change how he feels about her. Furthermore, he tells her that she does not have to conceal herself, and that she can be honest her feelings since the voices are now gone. Pihne, agreeing with Caswyn about being honest with her emotions, begins to once again reveal something that she wants him to know. However, Caswyn insists that it is not the right time to say it. Pihne, realizing that he does not want to be embarrassed while the Milletian is present, states that they should head back to Avalon Gate to meet with the others.
When the Celestial Six reunite, Pihne reveals that the Prophets have been performing experiments on animals, dead humans, and living humans who possessed Divine Light. Their plan would be to infect everything living entity in Erinn with Unholy Light to turn them into Apostles. She then states that the Prophets have moved on to seeking dead humans who possessed Divine Light, confirming the knights' suspicion that the Prophets wish to turn the Elder into an Apostle. Eventually, Avelin inquires about what happened to Pihne when she disappeared. After some hesitation from both Pihne and Caswyn, Pihne tells the knights everything about herself, including her past and her time as an Apostle. Talvish refers to Pihne's case as unique, since she became an Apostle, but returned to the light. The knights settle on coming to a decision on Pihne's case at a later time, prioritizing the protection of the Avalon Gate.
Once the Celestial Six arrive at the Avalon Gate grounds, they find Reanimated Corpses within the area. The group soon finds all of the Prophets gathered outside of the gate as well. The Celestial Six then prepare for another battle against Zebach, this time in its final form. Unfortunately for the knights, Zebach overwhelms each of them, including Pihne.
After Zebach is defeated by the Milletian, the Prophets manage to pass through the Avalon Gate using all the collected Alban Knights' Shards. The other knights besides Talvish soon wake up, allowing him to relay this information to them. He also points out that his efforts of combining the knights' Divine Light when the Prophets used the Sacred Mark caused the Prophets to become trapped beyond the gate. It is then decided that although the Celestial Six completed its mission, a new strategy must be devised.
Talvish then asks the others' well-being and if they wish to rest, to which Pihne agrees. Pihne also compliments Altam, Caswyn, and the Milletian for their efforts. When Caswyn's turn to thank the Milletian arrives, Pihne offers to speak for him. However, Caswyn refuses her offer, thanking the Milletian after some hesitation. Pihne then tells Caswyn that she is proud of him, then asks Avelin if her opinion of Caswyn has changed.
Soon, it is decided by Talvish that the Celestial Six must disband. Pihne eventually bids Avelin good-bye, however, upon hearing Caswyn express consideration for Avelin, she is taken aback by the idea that he "finally learned how to be polite."

Trivia
- Her track title used to be translated as Complete Silence.
- She likes chocolate.
- Her interest in random trivia is what made her and Caswyn to become friends.
- Likes to make puns.[1]
- The incantation that the Ladeca Heretic tells Pihne to cast is in Latin, though the usage of it is broken and nearly incomprehensible:
- Tu furtum eam cumulabitur animalis ex exclamatio eius (roughly you a theft to she/her will be accumulating life out of an exclamation his/her/its).
- Tu (you) furtum (a theft) eam (to she/her) cumulabitur (will be accumulating) animalis (life) ex (out of) exclamatio (an exclamation) eius (his/her/its).
- The intended meaning appears to have been something like "you will collect stolen life, by this exclamation".
- This phrase did not appear on the Korean server; the Ladeca Heretic instead uses "words" made from the letter "X", such as "XXXX".
- Tu furtum eam cumulabitur animalis ex exclamatio eius (roughly you a theft to she/her will be accumulating life out of an exclamation his/her/its).
- The Royal Spring Wings being the sole equipment of her Apostle form not related to Eidos may be caused by the fact that Eidos did not exist before its release, which predated G21.
