He makes his first appearance in The Hidden Book of Partholon by attacking the Fomorians and Mata who are attacking the Milletian, Cai, and Leymore. Mata falls by the Python Knight's might, and seems to recognize the character and his blade, but is slain before he can identify him. Cai demands identification of the creature, who claims he is neither Human nor Fomorian, but says he is bounded by light and shadow. The Knight tells the group that the Gods are a race full of greed and the Milletian may become a monster who is neither Human nor God due to the inheritance of the God's powers. He proceeds to give the Milletian the Book of Partholon and leaves. Cai says he will research on this character.
He appears again in Location of Destiny, revealing his true identity: Tuan mac Cairill, the lone Partholonian Prince. He explains that he used the Milletian to get rid of the Gods impeding his path and had caused many events leading to Generation 11 (disappearance of Caliburn, creation of Shadow Realm, activities of Gods, Brionac's creation, and the death of Cichol). He unmasks himself at this point, which appears to be a skeleton, like his troops. Tuan explains that his race was demolished by the Gods and tries to resurrect them by all means necessary. He had thought about taking revenge on the Gods that destroyed his race and will rise the Brionac back to their hearts. Tuan says the Milletian had played their final part, requiring the Brionac out of their hands.
However, Cichol's cunning had gotten the better of him, as they had absorbed his demonic powers and used it against Tuan. He then explains that the Goddess Morrighan had become fearful of Partholons and had used Cichol and his minions to get rid of them, then used the Milletians to get rid of the Fomorians. The Prince proceeds to vanish into the shadows after his speech.
His last appearance was in the Final Chapter where he ambushes the Milletian and relieves them of the Brionac. He attempts to cast the Brionac's powers to revive his fallen brethren, but realizes that Caliburn's 5th and final transformation had become the Milletian and tries to kill them as a hope for his race. He is shortly stalled by Cai, Leymore, and Jenna and completely eliminated by the Caliburn's judgment. Jenna says his clouded grief caused the creation of the Shadow Realm, but it has yet to disappear.
It is apparent that Tuan wasn't lying about Morrighan's "fear" and her actions toward the Partholons, as she confirms this at the end of the Generation, saying the Milletian has grown too powerful.
