Description

Partholon was the founder of a civilization known after his own name, the Partholonians. They were the first human settlers on the Uladh continent and the ancestors to the Tuatha de Danaans. After Aton Cimeni created Erinn, Partholon received the Caliburn, becoming the original owner of the sword of the Gods.

He eventually fell in battle against the Fomorians.

Partholon was a part of a fleet, led by his father Sera and captained by his daughter Laighlinne. The fleet sought to reach Erinn, the land of paradise. For unknown reasons, he led a rebellion against Sera and wiped his part of the fleet in his wake. Furious about his daughter's attempted betrayal, he used a storm and abandonned her as well, leaving her and her fleet to die, and eventually reached Erinn with only his own fleet.
