Prelude
Tarlach concludes that the Gods and the Soul Stream are the main cause of Erinn's problems. He plots to betray the Milletian race by polluting the Soul Stream which in turn will also pollute Milletians and then use that dark energy formed by the pollution to send it to Lia Fail, which is connected to the divine realm, and wipe both out in one blow. He later convinces Ruairi to his cause, claiming that Lia Fail bears Golden Apples which are the source of life which can be used to bring back a deceased Triona, who died by unknown means.
After recreating Lia Fail in Renes, Tarlach and Ruairi tie Millia, who has divine potential, down to the object and user her as an offering. However, knowing that this would result the destruction of the Milletian race and the Soul Stream as well as bringing forth another dark fate to Erinn, the Milletian, with the help of Akule, Shamala, Dowra, Maike, and Odran, thwart their plans and destroys Lia Fail.
