Balor of the Evil Eye is a Fomor known to have predated Cichol in leading his brethren. He obtained his monicker from his right eye, known as the 'Eye of Death', which kills anything that catches its gaze.
Having died in The Second Battle of Mag Tuireadh, his form was revived, but without his soul, it goes berserk on the fomors that resurrected him with the help of the Order of the Black Moon.
After its defeat in Generation 22, an echo of it persists in Tech Duinn.
AI
- Will always summon Salamanders with him, and replenishes them as they are defeated.
- May spam Iron Chain Charge multiple times in a row.
Battle Tips
- Reduce his defense and protection with either Bone Dragon, Mir, or Corgi pets, Spinning Uppercut, Brionac shedding and other debuff means.
- The salamanders will always be resummonned at the center of the room; sticking to the edges may help mitigate their aggro.
Generation 22
- Marleid will assist you, but she has her limits.
Illusion of Balor
- Avoid being knocked out during the mission; it will obtain a buff dependent on how many deaths the party has had before reaching it.
- Has the 'Hard' buff that may only be removed if he stands over a salamander's Fire decal.
- His destroyer attack can be immediately followed by any other skill.
- (Hard only) Clone Absorption is similar to the cleric room in seven nightmares, with the difference that the clones will heal balor if allowed to reach him.
