I'm sorry I edited that tidbit without realizing where I was first, I hope it's not a huge problem. I was following image policy pages looking for anything about anti-aliasing and noticed the snipping tool information.

Glitch of some sort

Sometimes the screen shot option camera doesn't stay still and moves along with your character, similar to when you open the Dressing Room. Changing channels fix this :0.

Whoa, nice.

But I do have a suggestion - I didn't see mention of stretching the window as big as it can go? That zooms the picture even bigger.

I think it was already mentioned to in the 100% quality guide the wiki has. *goes to look*

Edit: Yea it's there as the second step...should probably mention it here too.

Another suggestion - in light of the later bits of this thread, can the guide suggest, instead of going to the center of the hallway one should go to one of the entrances to Stewart's room or the library?

Er, I hope that doesn't amount to too much work?

In my personal opinion, black backdrops makes it a bit hard to see darker parts and it helps to be somewhere brighter. I understand that some items have see-through parts and what not. Those can be taken with a black backdrop to be able to see the transparent parts. I also have a tendency to think black backdrops are character simulator images...@@ silly me.

Though if it does become a hassle, I can change it accordingly.

Also you can't zoom as much in front of that door.

Well, not necessarily. I got this one nicely, if I might say so myself, though admittedly a small fraction leaked out of the backdrop.

Hidden Text

I know you're using hidden text because otherwise the page would be very long, but you should make a note somewhere (maybe explicitly in the hidden text's header) that says something like "click "Show" to see the guide" because I think a lot of people don't actually know to do that.

Hmm...I would think that would be self explanatory. x.x

Suggestion for Screenshots

I noticed you suggest using PrintScreen. While this works, I generally find it cumbersome and harder than it needs to be. Windows 7 (And I think Vista, not sure) comes with a handy utility called the Snipping Tool. You can find it via the start menu search. It allows several screencapture methods, but for clothing, I use the "Rectangle" mode. You can draw a rectangle around the item, and presto. A cropped, accurate screenshot. From there, you can save it as a BMP, JPG or PNG (You have to type out the png extension, for some reason) or copy it to the clipboard.

I don't really use it that much since I used to own an Windows XP and played this game. I only recently owned a Windows 7 laptop as of Decemeber 2011 and I'm still getting working with it (Not computer savvy). I'll make mention of it once i fiddle with it for a while.
