Bridges

Description

Bridges are large structures that connect between the regions throughout Iria, allowing players to cross through the different regions without the use of Fast Travel such as Iria's Mana Tunnels.

Bridges mainly serve to connect Courcle to its adjacent regions (namely Rano, Physis, and Connous), though an additional bridge connects Rano to Connous. Rano and Physis are not connected through a bridge and are instead connected through the tunnels leading to Solea.

Bridges in Iria can be used while Commercing through Iria (though the tunnels leading to Solea cannot). Players will need to take advantage of bridges to access all Iria regions while in Commerce.

The Bridges between Courcle and its Neighbors

Rano and Courcle

A bridge connecting Rano and Courcle can be found at at northeast area of Maiz Prairie and south of the Marshes of Pantay.

• There are 2 bridges available.
• Bridge are found using L-Rod Exploration.
  • Exploration will work on both sides of the river.
  • Similar effects, such as those connected to Demigodand Phantasmal Sight, will also work.
• Bridges last approximately 16 to 20 hours in real-time.
• Anyone that finds the bridge will have their name display for the duration of the bridge after which another player may find it again.
• A player may find multiple bridges in the same channel and region.

Connous and Courcle

A bridge connecting Connous and Courcle can be found at the northern area of Errans Canyon and east of Cenae Meadows.

• There are 4 bridges available.
• Bridge are found using L-Rod Exploration.
  • Exploration will work on both sides of the canyon.
  • Similar effects, such as those connected to Demigodand Phantasmal Sight, will also work.
• Bridges last approximately 16 to 20 hours in real-time.
• Anyone that finds the bridge will have their name display for the duration of the bridge after which another player may find it again.
• A player may find multiple bridges in the same channel and region.

Physis and Courcle

A deposit of Ice Crystals.

A bridge connecting Physis and Courcle can be found along the river north of La Terra Highlands and south of Lunae Valley.

• There are 10 bridges available.
• Bridge are created using Ice Crystals.
  • Ice Crystals can be gathered and used on both sides of the river.
  • Ice Crystal deposits require Bare Hands to gather from.
• Bridges last approximately 6 minutes in real-time.
• Anyone that finds the bridge will have their name display for the duration of the bridge after which another player may find it again.
• A player may find multiple bridges in the same channel and region.

The Bridge between Rano and Connous

Altar

A bridge connecting Rano and Connous can be found along the Lutra River between Karu Forest and Neres Plateau.

It is formed through a special method.

• There are 7 bridges available.
• Bridge are created by offering a Spring Water of the Water Spirit and a Stone Spirit Crystal to an Altar in Neres Plateau.
  • Spring Water of the Water Spirit can be gathered using an Empty Bottle on wells located on the Karu Forest side of the river.
    • Wells of the Water Spirit are found using L-Rod Exploration near where the southern bridge locations would connect to.
      • Similar effects, such as those connected to Demigod and Phantasmal Sight, will also work.
    • Spring Water of the Water Spirit cannot be dropped, traded, sold, or destroyed and can only be removed by giving it to Petra on the Fishing Boat or by using it for the Quest to create one of these bridges.
  • Stone Spirit Crystals can be obtained by trading 5 Stone Spirit Shards to Castanea.
    • Stone Spirit Shards can be obtained by mining Stone Spirit Rocks located at the northernmost section of Filia.
  • Warning: Even if the player has prepared both items in advance, the Altars used to create these bridges only exist on the Connous side of the river!
    • As a result, players doing Commerce may find themselves having to travel through Courcle to progress unless they have a friend who can create a bridge for them.
• Bridges last approximately 1 week in real-time.
• Anyone that finds the bridge will have their name display for the duration of the bridge after which another player may find it again.
  • Creation of the bridge permanently rewards the Title: "The One that connected Rano and Connous".
• A player may find multiple bridges in the same channel and region.

The Bridge between Rano and Connous

How to Get Quest	Talk to the Altar right next to a bridge stub at the west border of Neres Plateau and select "Look for item".
Briefing	Combine the powers of the Water Spirit and Stone Spirit to reconnect Rano and Connous that has been separated by Lutra River. Gather up the two items that represent each power and offer them on the altar to create a bridge that crosses the river..
Objectives	Offer the Water Spirit's Fountain on the altar Offer the Stone Spirit Crystal on the altar
Rewards	2500 Experience Points
Additional Information	To obtain the Spring Water of the Water Spirit, head to Karu Forest with an L-Rod and an Empty Bottle. Find the Well of the Water Spirit via L-Rod Exploration near the side of the river, where the bridges would be. Fill the Empty Bottle using the Well to obtain the item. To obtain Stone Spirit Crystal, mine the Stone Spirit Rocks located at the northernmost section of Filia. Collect 5 Stone Spirit Shards and turn them into Castanea to obtain the item. Creation of the bridge rewards the Title 'the One that connected Rano and Connous'.
