Notes & Advice Notes Comes in blue and red. This is merely a cosmetic difference. Unlike normal Wyverns, Blade Wyverns appear very close to the ground. However, they are still in Flight and therefore can only be attacked by Archery Skills, Throwing Attack, Sand Burst, Wings of Rage, Shooting Rush, Grapple Shot, and Bullet Storm. Devil Hug (The bite attack) causes it to land, dealing 13 fixed damage 5 times. This is the only time when it can be attacked by non-ranged attacks. The Bite Attack completely bypasses Mana Shield. Any attack will interrupt the Bite Attack and cause it to fly again. Playing Dead will not prevent the Wyverns from attacking. Using Crisis Escape and immediately dropping it will cause the wyverns to instantly aggro again. Scoring a Critical Hit with a ranged skill will knock them down for a short moment. Advice Marionettes are useful distractions, allowing non-archers to take it down. Other methods of luring single monsters out are also recommended.
