Oh turns out I have dialogue too (almost deleted it LOL). hmm let me pull it up...
Holy crap the text is HORRIBLY outdated....anyways the text is pretty similar as of now and it is heavily implied that Ruwai went to Connous, as it is the only place with sand that would probably do what it would, irritate your eyes. My guess is that Ruwai may have found some sort of clues that may have lead him to Connous, more specifically, Longa Desert Ruins. I mean when you want to look for ancient clues, you go to ancient ruins I guess.
