I'm just thinking if we should add more info instead of the "DO NOT" because its hardly noticeable and I've noticed recently that past events haven't had a source added to them.

Just to add more important info so we dont start seeing more errors and having to correct it later when someone notices.

Hm, maybe add some Tips under the "DO NOT" statements? Like mentioning that updates should include a link to the specific Nexon Announcement page.

On a different note...
Er, the Treasure Chest Event as far as I can tell really is just a repeat of previous years. Although the Nexon Announcement page lists the 2013 prizes, I've only received the 2014 + 2015 prizes (Crystal Ball medal, CF0000 dye, Women's Club Suit (which actually came from a Restored Treasure Chest)). Anyway, so many new/repeat events, some things I just ignore orz

True....after I had "corrected" it, I wanted to change it back but I ended up getting confused and just waited to be told by someone else if I did something wrong lol

Ill probably just add a Tip to signify that Repeat Events stay the same, while Events with the same name but different Items get a new one.....meh, not too sure.

Maybe we can just add changes to the items on the actual Page instead of creating new items...well, when its like a few items that arent too important.

Too lazy to find the Template for grouping them together in the group bar.

I think October Attendance Event should be added to the list

This event started yesterday and still hasn't been added, unsure how to do it so can someone sort this out?

I don't see any mention of the Ninja training event? I was trying to figure out when it ended, but ended up looking up the blog post on the mabi site instead. You get extra AP and a Perfect Skill Reset Capsule for ranking Kunai Storm, Explosive Kunai, Shadow Bind, Sakura Abyss.

I know someone has already posted it as Lorraine's Nightmare but is it even the same thing? From the event description on the official page it could possibly be something different.

More than likely it will be different.

It's not the same thing as Lorraine's Nightmare. You RP as Generation Characters, Ruairi, Mari, Tarlach, Jenna, Leymore/Cai (forget who), and Marlowe for each of their respected rounds.

An NPC also RPs as you, I there was a thread on this in mabination, I'll try to find it and link it as a resource if needed. Lorraine's Nightmare=/=Loraine's Strange Dream, not even close.

Do we have an unwritten rule against mentioning teaser sites, or can I add that the vate teaser site was released? Because the previous two heroes aren't announced in the archive.

As long as the teaser was officially released, and not, like, someone snooping around on the Nexon website and finding it before it's out. I don't mind it being added.

We used to announce Nexon's announcements on facebook, twitter, some MMO gaming sites, etc. I think we also did Erinn Walker before Nexon decided to throw it in the trash.

Wouldn't this be Nexon Updates or something along those lines, rather than the wiki's updates?

Eh. It's not like you see the title of this page on the wiki home, and the header for it is "General Mabinogi News" which is accurate.

Even so, it might confuse editors.

Is there any reason to not fix it?

It's not active yet and the event hasn't truly begun, so there's no point in mentioning it in the updates yet.

The Homestead Season 3 Update Event is now in Progress. -From In-game

I notice that the dates given in the wiki home note about the November 30th, 2012 unscheduled maintenance reference the times as PST while they should actually be PDT. Also, at the point I saw the message, it read that "as of 6:30" an update announcement had not been made, but the actual time was not yet 6:30PDT, so no message should yet have been expected. (The message has since changed to read "The maintenance has concluded." so I cannot give the exact wording here.) Anyway, I think the daily savings time switch needs to be note of and be reflected in these messages and I just wanted to point it out.

Why should it be PDT? Daylight Savings ended a while ago.

Yea. Sorry about the confusion. Mostly it was that I'd seen the note about that there hadn't been any update at 6:30 Pacific time, but it wouldn't have been 6:30 in Pacific time zone yet. Anyway, no biggie, just trying to help sort out any confusing messages. Don't mean to make things even more confused.

We can simply just include this along with the other "news" in the appropriate patches section. Otherwise, we might as well copy/paste the patches section into the wiki news.

I wouldn't throw this out there just yet, it says it was listed by "Guest Writer" which means it could be anyone, and Nexon usually will post it on the main page. It's probably best to wait until nexon confirms it themselves. Or to state it as non official, as I was hearing about this stuff weeks ago. Edit: Also, Previous history seems to show normal writers. Rauiri channels are crashing, I feel like a warning that character data can be lost should be posted. I luckily lost nothing but the 2 i was playing with did

It's not just Ruairi, Tarlach just lost channel 1, 2, and 3 after extreme lag.

Kinda looks like an Ice Dragon. You can see the spikes on its body and the figure is obviously that of a Dragon.
And I did hear about a fully-developed skill called "Ice Breath."

I can guarantee it is the Ice Dragon.
