Talk:Rank 8 Enchants
The Careful? enchant prefix listed here matches the stats of the Curing enchant I found on a Wooden Stick -- unless there's a duplicate enchant, I think it's safe to say it's not headgear exclusive. I failed to burn the enchantment off to verify it's rank or what pieces can be enchanted with it. -- Rozalyn, 11:50 AM MST, May 24
- huh, I wonder if they changed the name of the enchant, I myself haven't seen any curing enchants lately. Can anybody confirm? -- Ladywinter 23:08, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
I have no idea how the formatting for this section is working, so I won't touch it, but the Wooden Needle enchant also adds +6 critical rate, no condition. -Tamino
- k, on it. -- Ladywinter 23:08, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
The Titanic enchant, it's listed on the future content prefixes. Is it really an enchant for bows? It seems like a giant specific enchant. I don't want to ruin the rank 8 enchants page, so I'll leave it up to someone else. Can anyone confirm this? -- Shidera55, 1:23 AM, August 18
- Good eye. I messed up. ---Angevon 15:32, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Snow Drop enchant is also found in the Iria chest event chests. I found one this afternoon. --Syllwynn
- Are you sure it's an Event Chest and not a normal chest?--Mystickskye 06:01, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
Mana Witch
Mana Consumption is listed as blue, even though it says +3~1. Is this a typo? Should it be red, or should it be Mana Consumption -3~1? Zephyre 00:00, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- It's a limitation with the templates. Everything in blue is forced to have a + sign in front of it. I changed it to "+3~1 Mana Consumption Reduction" but it sounds really stupid. --- Angevon (Talk) 00:33, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- If everything in blue automatically has a + sign in front of it, how come CP and repair cost modifiers are displayed correctly, with additions/subtractions to either being red/blue respectively? Couldn't these "armor combination effect" enchants be worked to show similar to those? Qaccy 05:54, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- If you look at any of the CP/repair enchants (see Raccoon Cub and Revolver right under it), they all still have a + or - in front of them. In my defense, I don't really understand the enchant templates and unfortunately the one who came up with them, User:Ladywinter, no longer does anything here. --- Angevon (Talk) 16:50, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, they do still have the + or -, but if they followed the "rules" of the template then any enchants that lower CP would be displayed in red instead of blue, no? Same for repair cost modifiers. I was thinking that enchants like Mana Witch could somehow be worked to display like those, although technically just having the + sign makes sense since having a total of 10 for that effect gives the buff. Using a - sign might have people think that the enchant actually lowers MP cost of spells by that amount, rather than contributing to the status effect. But anyway, Ladywinter's still around I believe...they just did some work on the Dungeon List. Qaccy 17:05, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Colonel
Just going to confirm before doing anything. Colonel enchant is dropped from Sulphur Golems though they're not implemented yet. Should this be under future content, or is the enchant itself already implemented? --ZephyreTALK 13:59, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Wooden Needle on Stiff Wood Rimmed Glasses
So it doesn't work? I hear theres some on Mari though, but most people I hear just say it doesn't work period. If it doesn't, anyone mind ticketing nexon to have it fixed? It IS technically a game bug after all, and I want my wooden needle glasses, and I'm pretty sure alot of you do too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nightmagex (talk • contribs) . - If I'm not mistaken, the enchant itself actually reads "wooden weapons and gloves" which doesn't include the glasses. However, not having the money or use to burn a wooden needle blade, I can't confirm this myself. --Duet 13:18, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Peaceful ES
Can Peaceful ES be used on a Wooden Plate Cannon? I'm pretty sure its not a "fashion" glove but a "battle" glove, therefore being a Gauntlet, but there's signs such as it being repairable by tailor npc's and the fact that it has 1 def and 0 pro that imply otherwise. Anyone try enchanting this yet, and how did it go? --Twinsteel 02:11, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
two life enchants?
There seems to be a double life enchant of the same effects and drop locations but different enchant targets here (rank A) and here (rank 8). My guildmates disappointingly found their life enchant scroll to be rank A rather than rank 8 for their enchant sequence. Do both of these enchants exist or is the rank 8 version bogus? -Dias 04:01, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
- According to JP, they both exist. The effects for the rank 8 were wrong, though. Sucks that they both come from Rundal Adv. Hardmode. Devcat must've done that on purpose. --- Angevon (Talk) 04:54, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Future Content needs work
we need to update the future contents into present contents. i found a vicious enchant in their method recently. can someone update this?--Teoh 06:46, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
- Just move the coding {{DataEnchantWhatever}} for the enchant up to the implemented section if you know the enchant is implemented. --- Tellos 03:58, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Wooden Needle
I found every item wooden needle can go on. They are: Wooden Club, Wooden Blade, Wooden Stick, Broad Stick, Wood Plate Cannon, Every Bow as of G11, Flute, Lute, Mandolin, Ukelele, Whistle, Chalumeau, Roncadora, Great Mallet, Broken Log, Ice Flute, Bass Drum, Snare Drums, Cymbals, Duster, Bear Doll, Parasol, Cat Paw Club. That is every item that can be enchanted with wooden needle to date as far as I know. Retrieved from itemdb.xml (attribute /wood/) Tellos 03:58, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Every bow except Short Bow. --Berkt 04:54, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Hard Peaca
The enchant says it works for Shoes, and I'd like to make sure of that before I go through the pain of getting this enchant. xD I've been told in game it works on heavy (metal) footware only, like Val and such. I want to put it on a pair of Chinese Dragon Boots -- is that possible to do? --Simpet 07:14, 30 November 2010 (PST)
- It should be available for any and all foot based equipment. Tellos 10:42, 30 November 2010 (PST)

It's definitely a possibility, as the enchant was once referred to as "Fishy Smell", are you perhaps able to burn the enchant off of the item to get a little more detail on it?
Also let us know where you got it from. If it came from fishing in Cobh, then it's almost definitely renamed Scent of the Sea.
Upon running a friend's G11 Peaca (the Lucas one), I came across a rank 8 suffix known as Black Cross. The closest thing to it that we have here is Dark Cross.
Black cross's effects: (For "Spica" Silver Heavy Armor) If owner is under age 17, HP+10 If owner is under age 17, HP+20
Yes, there are two hp effects with "under age 17" requirements, which has lead me to believe that the translation's off. Most likely this is Dark cross, but I'd just like to see if anyone else has something regarding this enchant.
PS: Despite surfing talk pages and the wiki in general, I'm rather new to this, so sorry if I missed some formality when it comes to helping work on the wiki xD. Also, if you require an image, I can try to get one up .. once I figure out how (file embed seems tempting .. )
I've just gotten a Black Cross enchant as well. To add on, to Urawr's points, this enchant also subtracts twenty Will. Two minor details are that the first HP condition has a text error, saying "SetmIf the owner is under Age 17, HP + 10" and the second HP condition is "written" right, except it says "MaxHP + 20" instead of just HP.
So would this be considered different from the "Dark Cross" enchant or is it a change?
Data files have both a "Dark Cross" and a "Black Cross" listed so I'm thinking they are two different enchants.
It's a little too much work for me to read the files to confirm that, though, sorry :<
only one enchant dark_cross in xml files, it's calling for the Black Cross name in the txt file.

The Party Healing MP 15 ~ 20 bonus on the Abundant Prefix enchant is peaking my interest. do you get it once or twice with this enchant? If only once why is it listed twice on the form? If it is only once it should be fixed just I have not run across this enchant to find out even though I would want to as it seems like it would be a good mana enchant to have.
Me and my friend just ran enemy behind basic, and got a small enchant out of the end chest. I'm guessing the drop rate is lower, but it's not just int+. It's all versions of enemy behind.
Has anyone actually obtained one of these recently? After hundreds of intermediate and advanced runs of Their Method I've got Giant, Burgundy Bear, Breeze, and Water Drop but no Vicious. I've got four Shock pg 9 and a handful of elite passes and red upgrade stones too.
Is it just ridiculously, stupidly rare or is there some incorrectness in the data?
