Talk:Rank 5 Enchants

From Mabinogi World Wiki

magical clothing = special clothing?

Magical Clothing refers to clothing that can only be repaired by Fleta, which almost always tends to have a magic auto-defense attribute on it. --Sanity 19:00, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Ancient Darkness Armor

For the record, ancient ES can go on Padded Breast-plate armor, so if you want a unisex armor rather than a drandos, you can use that, at the cost of 3 less dur than a drandos. I just made my 12-15 Ancient Darkness Padded Breast-Plate a few minutes ago :D --Twinsteel 07:53, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

You can get Encore Exclusive Enchant Scroll from Fiodh Intermediate.

My brother received it and we have screenshot and/or video if that's needed.

Bronzebreak (talk)00:45, 28 January 2018

Also got Synergy from Alby Advanced (I did it solo, dunno if that's important) as an Exclusive Enchant Scroll.

Bronzebreak (talk)21:54, 15 May 2018

Colossal -> Immense

The Colossal enchant is named Immense in NA, this needs a change.

(Because nobody knows the black magic of editing enchant data.)

Rydian (talk)16:14, 12 June 2016

Changed in the template page, renamed the template page, and re-ordered alphabetically the Rank 5 Enchants page. I didn't touch anything else that's still using the old name in the source code, though, being a lazy man. Is this significant enough for an admin to use the Text Replace extension or is someone here gonna have to do the grunt work manually?

Regarding Tripod

What does "Alchemy success rate +" mean exactly? Does it mean that all forms of production in alchemy have x% higher chance of success?

Squirel (talk)11:28, 19 June 2015

Based off the way it's worded, it sounds like some sort of set bonus that you need to get 10 points to activate the effects of. The problem with that is I don't know of any way to actually get 10 points for that and the enchant looks pretty rare... Maybe it is just an increase in the success rate for all production alchemy skills.

Blargel (talk)12:53, 19 June 2015

From the way it's written, it sounds like a set bonus.

Long-lasting enchant

So this new Ninja enchant is missing drop information.

From what I've seen, the existence has been confirmed by a screen shot of the scroll in JP wiki.

Would there be anyone who's good enough in Japanese and have enough knowledge base in JP Mabinogi to figure this one out?

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) (talk)15:09, 30 September 2014

Hello there. The ninja enchant "Long-lasting" is available in something called "Mabinogi Open Market" (MOM for short by JP-players) It's something like a points system where you use NX to buy these in-game points to purchase from other players (Similar to MapleStory's old Maple Trading System / MaplePoints).

Kiyoura (talk)19:28, 1 October 2014

What did that have to do with drop information?

iDSd21:37, 1 October 2014

I'm guessing this is the screenshot ironwoman is talking about.

The one who took the screenshot doesn't know where it drops from, and only took the screenshot as proof that it has been implemented. Kiyoura's explanation was an indirect way of saying that there's no information about where it drops. You'd have to contact the player who was selling the enchant on the JP server, which would require you to talk to the one who uploaded the image since the sellers column is hidden.

Yinato (talk)12:27, 2 October 2014

Exactly, can anyone speak to the uploader?

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) (talk)09:53, 3 October 2014

I asked around, but it's some sort of conspiracy that no one is allowed to know. Probably some hard mode dungeon. I'll be trying a few, I guess.

Meru (talk)13:32, 13 October 2014

As far as we know, the hard mode dungeons only seemed to drop lower-tier Ninja enchant.

I mean, you can try it, but I highly doubt this good of an enchant comes from a content as easy as hard mode dungeons. I'd expect it to come from raids, Lord mission, or abyss dungeon.

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) (talk)14:31, 13 October 2014

I don't know, but I overheard the guy saying he was going to start farming them for money. I don't think it comes from any of the dragon or giant alligator raids since I do those a lot, and no one else at the raids knows. I have heard that the break enchant comes from coill abyss, which also has no location listed here on the wiki, but I can't really confirm myself, and it's also part of the secrets that people don't want out. Was thinking dungeons since no one really does those. Probably from a raid no one does, or coill abyss, or hardmode dungeons is what I'm thinking. Also, according to what we have here on the wiki, we only know of where 2 of the ninja enchants come from. One from barri and rabbie advanced, and one from rundal siren hardmode.

Meru (talk)18:15, 13 October 2014

Yeah, I heard that about break enchant too. In fact, I'm gonna start spamming coill abyss at some point. I'd assume that the enchants come from a more "end-game" content, not the hardmode dungeons, because they've been easy for long time.

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) (talk)15:43, 21 October 2014

Swift Enchant (Rank 7) is confirmed to drop at Dorren's Request at Basic difficulty. I am surprised why they put it in basic difficulty. I don't understand the devCat for it.

Infodude575 (talk)16:13, 6 April 2015

Ah well, I knew about it since few months ago about Long-lasting and Heroic's drop location, however I cannot post this info on wiki as I need to verify it first, or someone posted the picture with proof, that someone got it in NA.

  • Long-lasting Enchant - Peaca Abyss End Chest
  • Heroic Enchant - Coill Abyss End Chest

There are other enchants, such as Chorus, that I have been trying to verify as well.

So far Long-lasting Enchant did not drop yet, after did over 50+ runs with other 7 people and we got several enchants, but none of them are Long-lasting (It was started since few months ago for verifying it).

Jiuhin (talk)16:24, 6 April 2015

If you had known about their locations you could have at least used the talk page to point that out. Give everyone the major location clue to the scavenger hunt and confirm if its real.

Infodude575 (talk)16:39, 6 April 2015

In case people don't believe it for Long-lasting Enchant, here is the proof (This picture is not mine)

Jiuhin (talk)17:16, 2 May 2015

Officer's enchant

I don't know how to edit this, but i have confirmed the "officer's" enchant drops from "Poisoned Sasquatch". Sorry about starting a discussion about it but I don't know how to edit that into the info.

Adam50078 (talk)23:26, 12 August 2013

Don't worry about it, that's what discussion pages are for. Added.

Can anyone help?

So my guild mate was running the white dragon raid and as a prize she received a rank 5 suffix enchant named "Champion" because I don't know how to put it up (I would have done myself) I am here to ask if anyone can put it for me. The enchant is exclusive, and like I said rank 5 and suffix. The rolls on it (that she received) are: service fee +100% enchant available regardless of enchant rank max stamina 60 decrease defense 3 increase when level is over 40 strength 25-35 increase when the rank of counterattack is over 1 max damage 10-15 increase It can go on light/heavy armor and as I mentioned before it is from the white dragon raid. Unfortunately, I do not know how much the rolls vary, but I do know these are not maximum rolls. If anyone can put this up, thank you very much.

Vanstina (talk)22:27, 19 July 2013

Oh! it is there, but under the wrong spot (prefix) and said not implemented and doesn't show where to get it. If any one can correct it, please do so. Thank you so much.

Vanstina (talk)22:35, 19 July 2013

r5 prefix Solid Enchant Missing from chart?!?!

s Is there a reason why the enchant was removed from the chart? o_______O
SoraHikari12:59, 12 June 2011

It was renamed stable? Not sure.

Angevon (Talk)13:11, 12 June 2011

ohh!

SoraHikari18:54, 13 June 2011

I have light armor enchanted with solid, with a service fee of "-6%"...

What exactly does this mean?

Doomsday31415 (talk)13:31, 9 March 2013

repairs cost 6% less

Angevon (Talk)14:10, 9 March 2013

Ahem. I mean, why is there no enchant by the name of "Solid"?

Furthermore, the enchant that's supposedly the same, "Stable", has a repair cost reduction of 9%, not 6%.

But that's not all! This "Stable" enchant also lists light armor nowhere.

Doomsday31415 (talk)16:27, 9 March 2013

I have two "Solid Light Melka Chain Mail"s with the prefix

Solid

Service fee - 6%

Doomsday31415 (talk)16:53, 9 March 2013

I don't know what you're asking.

The wiki lists "Stable" as being -9%.

Doomsday31415 (talk)16:56, 9 March 2013

And you also said "9, not 6", rather than "6, not 9".

If you're referring to "Furthermore, the enchant that's supposedly the same, "Stable", has a repair cost reduction of 9%, not 6%.", I was saying "Furthermore, according to the wiki, the enchant that's supposedly the same, "Stable", has a repair cost reduction of 9%, not 6%."

Doomsday31415 (talk)17:02, 9 March 2013

Well, two different ways to interpret that statement.

Also, the description says 9, so that's probably why it's been like that for so long, despite the effects of the ES being 6.

So we're sure there's not an enchant very similar to Solid that actually is -9%?

Doomsday31415 (talk)17:12, 9 March 2013

Yes. It has 2 different names, oddly; one that appears on equipment and one that appears on the enchant scroll. Unfortunately, many enchants suffer from this.

Alright, I understand now the "light armor" confusion...

"Light" Melka Chain Mail is actually heavy armor, despite its name.

Ancient Enchant

Ancient Enchant cannot be enchanted on clothing. The information on this page is incorrect.

Simpet22:32, 10 March 2012

It can be if the clothing is classified as "leather", like flamerider.

Aubog00700:11, 11 March 2012

That should be specified on the page, since the term "clothing" in much more inclusive than just leather clothing. (One of my friends dropped several million gold into collecting everything he needed to put Ancient on clothing, only to discover he couldn't. I'd rather that not happen to others due to misleading information.)

Simpet00:58, 29 March 2012

It already says Leather Clothing. It has said that since the data page was made back in 2009.

Pyro - (Talk)01:20, 29 March 2012

Wait... but is there any other clothing that is classified as "Leather clothing" like flamerider?

If so, what's an example, for each race and gender?

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)16:10, 30 April 2012

There probably are, although I don't know which. I assume clothing with the Leather Dye Palette on one of its part would classify it as such.

Pyro - (Talk)16:27, 30 April 2012

Hmmm... Someone should do a research.

If there is another clothing compatable for Ancient, that's a good information, since it will most likely save lots of money from people...

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)13:38, 7 May 2012

to my understanding, Flamerider F is the only clothing you can enchant ancient on. That's what I've heard from the "pros" and veteran players.

S•A•R•I•A13:40, 7 May 2012

No, you can still put it on the male ones o.o

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)13:45, 7 May 2012

Aghh...didn't catch my typo o.e...but yeah Just Flamerider owo;;

S•A•R•I•A13:52, 7 May 2012

I know for a fact that there are more leather clothing/enchants though.

May I remind you it has had Leather on there since 2009, long before Flameriders.

Pyro - (Talk)13:55, 7 May 2012

I mostly think Leather armors when I hear Leather :x

S•A•R•I•A14:42, 7 May 2012

Long matte leather coat?

Aubog00707:31, 9 May 2012

Maybe. I haven't thought of that one since it's a male only item and not a lot of people have the clothing to begin with.

S•A•R•I•A09:18, 9 May 2012

Now only if I had the Ancient ES..... >.>

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)16:18, 9 May 2012

-takes long time to reply-

My point was more that "leather clothing" is very vague. Which is already mostly covered in the above statements. It's pretty easy to misread and/or misinterpret types of clothing from "leather" and non-leather.

Simpet19:47, 19 May 2012

Perhaps we should clarify enchant requirements somewhere?

Pyro - (Talk)20:03, 19 May 2012

Marquis finally showing up in auction

when it comes in auction it does not personalize. if you burn it and somehow re-enchant it it will personalize.
