When a player gets snared, they can't use potions for the duration of the 3rd part of the skill.
I probably made up the word on the spot...anyways thought I'd get some attention for a recent project. Monsters that can not be snared. Though yes, there are hundreds, if not thousands of mobs out there, I thought I'd ask people around the community on the wiki (since i figured the forums would be like "lol puppetry is stupid...") to help me compile a specific list of things that can be snared. I can only do so much on my own.
The List of Unsnarable Monsters
Why am I doing this thing? It helps narrow things down and trust me, something small can't be snared while something extremely large can be...
Stun is the damage when attached, which is the skill's "damage %"...afterwards they take damage over time, which is labeled as "X Additional Damage every 3 Seconds". The stun part is when a monster is snared, and only last during the skill duration. Both are affected by the monster's def/prot. I'm not making heads or tails out of what I read since it keeps talking about the after effects, rather than the skill's stun.
I'm not too sure about a lot of this, but I know what I'm talking about...I think.
Updated the video to show the damage over time.
From my experiences, experiencing lag past the normal stun time of the skill (for example, the strings connecting you to the enemy vanish) keeps the enemy remaining frozen in place. Sometimes I've had the enemy stay stunned for a while longer, before reverting to their usual animations and taking the end-of-attachment hit. Can anyone confirm/deny this? It's an interesting bug, but it might just be a visual glitch.
Since its not CP based, and I'm assuming it will bind AHS since Ice Spear/Frozen Blast freezes and Lullaby sleeps, can it actually ensnare a dragon?
That would be terribly OP.
Except Frozen Blast is CP-based
