My friend just pulled one of these from the Demonic Box Gachapon, and (we thing) after he put it on, it bound to him. Did this happen to anyone else? Should we make a note of this?
Was it enchanted? Both of the possible enchanted bracers that come from that gacha will personalize upon equip because of the enchant.
See: http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Heavy_Punch#Heavy_Punch http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Speedy#Speedy
No, because it had either this enchant: http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Speedy#Speedy
Or this one on it: http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Heavy_Punch#Heavy_Punch
Both of those bind it to your character once you equip it.
Ah, alright. Now what is the principle for removing the enchants, does that remove the bind?
Overwriting the enchants will not undo the personalization.
Unfortunately, even if you place a new enchant on top, it will still be personalized.
Once you personalize something, its bound to you forever. You can't get rid of it.
You can, however, potentially retrieve the enchant itself by burning the item.
Although then it falls on to whether the enchant itself is personalized.
But we're not talking about destroying the item are we?
He gives Bear Knuckle upgrades for Bracers, including the Artisan.
It's been a couple months since it's been like that, but Nexon never fixed it, so I'm thinking it's intentional.
Well I don't know actually, I don't seem to be able to reproduce this. -> http://i.imgur.com/HYDic.jpg
Perhaps it is related to whether they are smithed or bought from the Trade Assistant Imp. Ancient Powder has differences as well.
Ancient Powder has differences because it's a completely different item. There are multiple "Ancient Powders" using the same icon/stats.
But Bracer Knuckles should all be the same.
Ah. I see now.
The second Brace Knuckles are special upgraded, they literally "magically" turn into Bear Knuckles, although it has no effect on anything other than what can be enchanted on it (only if there were Bracer/Bear Knuckle-specific enchants) and what upgrades you can put on it. But upgrades dont matter since at that point, your upgrades should aleady be maxed and irreversible.

I'm pretty sure the upgrades were still there before I even upgraded, but if that's what the game code says, I can't really argue with that unless I find a clean pair and check again.
Do we need to place that "r3" next to it? It dosen't need to be r3 to actually use the manual; right?
I'm not very good at editing, but can someone please change the page to say that the manual -is- implemented, at least from fishing on the beach? I just recently got one
For some reason, my Bare Handed Damage is MUCH MUCH stronger than with Brace Knuckle.
BH: 118~158
BK: 77~116
Just what..?
That didn't happen to me and the cloth part is leather dye pallet for normal dyes. I haven't gotten the metal dye I wanted to see if the other part is also dyeable.
Oh, Infodude, that is because when you had other weapons on your damage was strength based. However, after equipping knuckles, damage is will based. Str effects damage with knuckles very little. As such, it's better to wear a title like Connector of Connous and Rano.
I'm not sure this should be classified as a "Legendary" weapon. It has no special effects, no backstory, and it's even smithable. It's not even fomorian; human blacksmiths can repair it. I think we should just call it a rare weapon that happens to be purchasable from the imp shop.
- There are three other Legendary weapons without special effects.
- Not all legendary weapons have back-story.
- How do you know it's not Fomorian?
- It's repairable with gold because it can be smithed as well.
Point is, the definition of a legendary weapon is a non-Fomor weapon that is sold in the limited time tab of the Commerce Imp's store.
On the #3 part, it's not a Fomorian weapon--despite of it being sold in the Trade Commerce Imp's shop. Why? Because it can be specially upgraded and it can be repaired at Blacksmiths, instead of the regular method with the Commerce Imp/Ogre/Goblin.
Champion being legendary is an opinion, it has higher max damage and lower minimum damage, that can be viewed as weaker or stronger. The point is, this isn't something for interpretation, it's a fact.
I think discussion about an item being Legendary or not is pointless as debating over what flavour of ice cream to get.
Legendary weapons are randomly purchasable. Mace of Mercy, White Wing Staff, and Bracer Knuckle are not legendary.
The legendary weapons are Elsinor, Caladbolg, Masterpiece Bow, Tyrfing, Venom Sword, Tethra, and Brionac.
White Wing Staff is Legendary, though it is questionable considering the only mention was a "white-winged" god was an inspiration. Mace of mercy is...well...more rather ancient considering Slates are enchanted stone entities, so let's throw that in the pile.
...now as for the Bracer Knuckle, It's not legendary if NPCs like Mina and Keane have them...then again...look at Price and his random Caladbolg...He probably obtained one in his travels while going into varies places of Uladh. My personal opinion on this matter that it is not legendary, though the fact that Gold is used to repair it makes it even more less legendary considering normal blacksmiths and weapon shops can repair it just fine, in where fomorian weapons require the special care of Fomors to repair. I'm sure they could easily repair human made weapons though...
Legendary Weapon=Non-Fomor Weapon Bought from Limited Time Tab
And just for a moment if we forget that for hypothetical reasons, there is still no harm on having it on the page. What is the real point of this discussion?
Exactly, what's the point? This is like debating over what flavour of ice cream is the best.
Just because it's in the limited tab doesn't mean anything :l
I don't mind that it's on the page. I'm just saying that it might not be legendary if NPCs have it (I'm not counting the Caladbolg)...though it could have been smithed...or maybe stolen from somewhere...like the Falias Treasures. If anything it's more rather "limited" than legendary.
