Considering this isn't the first time you've done specifically this, not to mention other troll edits, I believe there was more than enough reason to remove your edit.
Joke? You added that with no proof or evidence for the sake of "boredom" (vandalism), and it's not the first time. As far as I'm concerned, any edit you make that may seem like vandalism is vandalism. If anyone else can prove it or provide evidence, then they can go ahead an add it.
Your recent edits have put you in a status of "distrust" so while you make valid edits, adding something outrageous as "Nuadha Robes" (and considering your given history) may not be considered valid. Not to mention your chosen username can't help but scream "I obviously troll people, so let's troll the wiki with my "boredom.""
I'm not taking sides, I'm just letting you know why it was removed. While other users may put something like that (though I haven't seen it pop up), at least they don't have a bad history of edits to question their edit. Don't get me wrong, I've made some terrible edits too, but at least I acknowledge why it was removed, fixed, or w/e happened to it.
If I come to find that the Scathach is a troll/fake edit, I will remove it too. I speculate, though, it hasn't been removed by anyone because nobody really knows. Since I'm not positive about this issue, I haven't touched it. Your edit screamed BS, considering some of your previous posts (ie. SAO/FMA gear), therefore I reverted it.
Why did you crop out of the legs? The socks are a part of the outfit.
I'm well aware. Cropping the main part of the outfit gives good zoom, the stockings/socks are shown in angled view. Not sure if it's frowned upon or not, I think I picked it up from someone else doing it, as I find it better than skinny, vertical oriented pictures just to show the stockings. Namely in Millia Outfit, St. Patricks Day Suit (F), Eirawen Outfit, Puffy Cocktail, Short Swordsmanship, Succubus Outfit etc.
But those actually show the top of the leggings so the other pictures still hint that there are leggings. Also, the leggings in those pictures were either fixed or one dye option only. The New Semester School Uniform, even if the dyeable areas are obvious, has two dye areas. I'm just sayin' at least the top of the leggings should be shown, at least to show both of the dye areas.
I will support Midnightlust in this one. I can't really think of clothing in specific that I've taken photos of in the past, but I know I've put up ones where I cut off the legs and then finally show the leggings/socks in the angled shot. I don't really see how it's a big deal when it's shown. I'm sure we're all smart enough to realize the socks are part of it even if it isn't shown in the front/back and side.
I just figured the point was to show the outfit.. which the leggings are a part of. :/
The leggings ARE in it though, even if they're only in one shot the one picture alone shows the socks. You don't really need every angle of the socks to know what it looks like. The main details are on the outfit itself. If you can get great zoom with a full view, then feel free to replace, but honestly I think it's better cropped. :s
Not worth replacing. If it was really a bad photo I would, but I was just asking why 'cause I have seen people change pictures because of the legging thing.
Hello.
Could you retake the images for the Scathach Outfit closer to the dress? I do agree the dress needs to be taken without a pose, but there seems to be some nonessential space around the character. I don't mean to impose, and this is just a suggestion.
Thanks for reading.
Edit2: Had someone else take care of the zoom, hopefully should be fixed now. Thanks. ^^
When changing the parameters for the Clothing, you don't have to keep the "|PreviewExt=png" there. You can just take it out and the template will automatically use the .png extension.
I saw that you asked in the IRC. To fix the stretch on images, purge the page after uploading new pictures. (Arrow next to "View History" -> purge) Don't keep reuploading.
