Generation 23 (Spoilers)

Talek was one of Helvetius's students, almost becoming Dorren's twentieth student. According to Dorren, he was a timid person (similar to Morfydrianas). He climbed to become the Senior Alchemist of the Arat Alchemy Society. His name was included in "The List of Missing People" after the explosion caused by Helvetius in the events of G12.

Dorren also notes that he was skilled with his hands.

During the G23 finale, Talek drops an Incomplete Figure upon reaching 50% health. It's noted by Eirawen that the Royal Alchemists found several figures similar to the incomplete figure. It was noted that the crafter finds expressing themselves difficult.

In a flashback cutscene, Fodla comments on how Talek's memory had been tampered with to remove any obstructions that might have compromised the Order of the Black Moon's operations. Additionally, his Geas with Hymerark is said to have been within similar circumstances to Fodla's.

• Talek's name may have come from the bardic name of Cornish writer Ernest George Retallack Hooper.
  • The word itself means 'wide-browed' in Cornish.
• His track theme used to be translated as Ending Hunger.
• His theme is also a reprisal of Morfydrianas's theme.
