Lennox requests that the Milletian interrogate a man named Jarlath, who is held captive by the Royal Alchemists. He is presented in Obtain Information from Jarlath. He refuses to speak to the Royal Alchemists. The Milletian finds him in the northwestern corner of the first floor of Shadow Tara Rath Castle. The Milletian explains what is currently happening and what may happen if things continue as they are. He finds it shameful for the Arat Alchemist Society, as he is the lead alchemist behind the organization. He wishes that the Homunculus Experiment could have gone as planned and perhaps Helvetius may have healed his wounds better. Jarlath explains that the Homunculus Experiments have no intention of harming anyone, as the Royal Regime expects. The Arat Alchemists want to make Erinn a better place, being able to save lives through alchemy and not with the need of superstitions, religion, or magic. They want to solve everything through human reasoning, with logic and knowledge. However, he tells the Milletian that all of his beliefs were crushed in an instant, as they have accidentally revived a god. Jarlath explains that Homunculus Experiments was going as planned, attempting another transmutation to Claimh Solas; there was little chance it would succeed. As the Homunculus Experiments went horribly wrong, he saw Nuadha, the King of the Gods, standing before him. Jarlath was shocked and stood there with disbelief.
