Description

Helvetius is the leader of the Corrupted Alchemists that roam inside the Shadow Realm, and the founder of the Arat Alchemy Society.

Helvetius appears in Reclaiming the Memory Crystal where he has the Alchemy Memory Crystal. He states that prior to obtaining it, he remembered everything he once knew.

Helvetius appears in Jenna's Revenge, where he confronts Jenna alongside with his Corrupt Alchemists. He attacks and seemingly kills her with Flame Burst. However, Neamhain appears, defeats all the Corrupt Alchemists, reflects Helvetius's Flame Burst, and resurrects Jenna. The Corrupted Alchemist Leader is presumed to be dead.

Generation 12: Return of the Hero (Spoilers)

When the Homunculus experiment comes into play, it suggests that Helvetius is behind this as he is one of the few Alchemists who knows that alchemy experiment. However, Jenna still believes he is dead.

On the other hand, James has a pass to Arat Alchemy Society secret lair which is located in Peaca. When venturing there, it reveals that Helvetius is indeed alive, where he states that he was badly burnt prior to Neamhain's interruption. He states that he does not want to have war with the Royal Alchemists, or any alchemist for that matter, and relays a message to Lennox.

When Lennox receives Helvetius's Personal Letter, he agrees to the plan and does Helvetius a favor by trying to convince the Royal Regime to end the war, but to no avail. Both Corrupt and Royal Alchemists then prepare for war.

In All Out Attack!, Helvetius seems to have lost the war. Lennox calls him "old friend," to which to him feels strange. He remarks that hell would not be "boring" with Lennox around, and causes several Steam Ovens to explode. The chain explosion initiates the death of both Helvetius and Lennox.

Dorren states that Helvetius was a member of the "Four Vates," along with her, Lennox, and an unidentified person who used the Homunculus to revitalize Eabha.
