Advancement Test Hall/Sand Burst
Description
Use Sand Burst to defeat as many monsters as you can within the time limit. Blocking the enemies' sight with Sand Burst will result in a higher score. As the test rank increases, stronger monsters will appear and you will need a higher score to pass the test. |

General Tips
- Your Chain Cylinder, Flame Burst, Rain Casting, Wind Blast, and Water Cannon ranks will carry over into the test, so having higher ranks would be useful.
- You should not need to use Rain Casting to freely Sand Burst since Sand Burst's purpose is to take control of the aggro.
- You should not need anything more than the first spawn of Shadow Shires and Shadow Warriors, as well as the Blinkers and Sulfer Spiders that spawn later.
- Blinkers and Sulfur Spiders will spawn periodically throughout the test, while the Shadow Shires and Shadow Warriors spawn at the start.
- Shadow Shires are more aggressive than Shadow Warriors in terms of aggro and their speed should be watched out for.
- Unlike other Alchemy Dan tests, it is not recommended to kill Blinkers even though you are unable to attack while subjected to their Beholder Beam Attack. This is because Blinker-type enemies are left unable to attack for a longer duration with Sand Burst than most other enemies.
- Sand Burst will always reset when used, as long as the enemy is not immune to blindness.
- Immunity is only possible for enemies here that are currently blinded or that previously were blind, got attacked, and whose blindness-immunity cooldown had not yet run out.
- Collect all of the SP potions that drop from monsters. You start with reduced SP, which Sand Burst requires. You may need to drink them if your stamina runs out.
- Do not drink the potions immediately, as Sand Burst will deal extra damage with more stamina and you will likely kill the enemies early.
- Staying in a central location where at least 5 enemies surround you is the best method to ensure the 500 point bonus for getting 5 enemies in 8 seconds.
- Kill any Blinkers that spawn too far to attack with Sand Burst by using Chain Cylinder plus Water Cannon.
- Moving around too much will ruin this Advancement Test; let the enemies come to you, not you to them.
