One candy character per account

Didn't Caravan Joe repeatedly warn you that if you choose that character, your other characters won't be able to participate?

I remember having to select the left button, then he asked the same question again and I had to select the right button.

If you don't read it in that scenario, what scenario DO you read it in? o.o

When I first talked it him, I thought it was just event explanations for quest, so I was like, "belgh I'm not reading this..." Then I got on my main and he said "NOT YOU! I mean....it's not you you."
