I heard it was getting reworked to accommodate some...weird glitches. I dunno if it's JP player talk or what, but yeah...rumors are rumors though, so don't take my word for it.

Another thing, the berserk skill wouldn't be at all related to the old one right?

By the looks of it in the video, it seems to act similarly to the hacked version of Berserk, back when it was around.

Looks like all it does is give them adv stander and increase str output...neh...

Doesn't seem like you need to get KOed for it to activate though.

I posted some details further down in the discussion. You no longer need to be KO'd for it to activate. You load it up and it acts like a buff. It has a fairly long cooldown.
